tmnt_adultThis is your home for those "big kids" who take their love of Ninja Turtles to a whole new level. If sexual thoughts/situations regarding the TMNT universe gross you out, this is not the place for you! If however you're interested in Fan Fiction, Fan Art and just general discussion with like-minded individuals than come on in! But there are rules... because unfortunately there have to be.
Rules
1. This Community is under EXPLICIT ADULT CONTENT FILTER. Your birthday registered with Lj (whether visible or not on your userinfo page) must make you older than 18 to join. If at any point I were to have PROOF that you are not over 18, I must, under LiveJournal Rules, remove you from the community.
2. All fics are to go behind a cut tag--no exceptions! It would be greatly appreciated if you put a brief description of the fic outside the cut tag. Things like rating, pairing, kink warnings (see rule 4.), and universe should go here. Feel free to post another's work--but it MUST BE CREDITED TO THEM--PLAGIARISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED--and that's what it is when you don't credit. If the original author contacts me or the poster to get it taken down? Down it comes.
3. All fanart must also be behind a cut tag. Again, if the work is not yours, you MUST credit the original artist! If it's not work safe please label it as such. Some of us do check their LJ from work, or have children around the house that shouldn't be seeing these things just yet. ^_~
4. All fanfic/fanart must have a 'kink' warning. While i think it's silly to get offended or mad over something you found in a TMNT Pornography community--it is entirely reasonable to want to AVOID some things! Kink warnings let us pick our favorite flavors, so i require that there be a kink warnings for the sexual acts within the fiction: HETEROSEXUALTIY, HOMOSEXUALITY, BONDAGE, NON-CONCENTUAL SEX, INCEST, OC-SEX, MIDGETS, ILLEGAL USES FOR PETUNIAS, BOXER SHORTS, etc. Seriously, folks. People wanna know what they're getting into. If you find something you think is offensive--don't read it! We're all here for zee p0rnz, let's not judge each other, ne?
5. I respect an author's right to avoid negative feedback. If you do not want ANY negative feedback, it is the author's responsibility to TURN OFF THE COMMENTS. By leaving comments on, and allowing people to praise your work, you must allow ALL COMMENTS. I trust your fellow adults to keep things civil and non-flammable. If you get hateful, or flammable comments then contact me please.
6. PERMANENT BANNINATION HAPPENS for the following: You are found to be an ass-hat. I could have spelled out the 5,000,000 "thou shalt not's" but really. You had to be an adult to get in. Act your age. We'll all look at p0rnz and be happy.
7. I will turn away NO fiction with adult themes regardless of rating! However, i would ask you to please check your fictions for adult themes before posting them here. Please post only smut (even rated PG, softcore smut counts, though) to the smut community.

Two ways!
1. By TAGS. There's a link off the main
tmnt_adult page on the lefthand side of your screen. It will say "Search tmnt_adult by TAGS." Click it! You will be whisked to a page with an alphabetical listing of all the tags used in this community. We don't quite have it smoothed out yet, but shortly all the tags will be in a basic format that allows for easy searching by Author, Title, Date of post, Rating, Characters Present, Pairings, Type of Sexual Situation, Medium, Genre, and OC or Mult-part indicators. 2. By the UBER-ARCHIVE. There's a link on the main
tmnt_adult page just below the tags link on the lefthand side of your screen. It will say "Search all Lj Turtle MATURE Fiction regardless of community Via FanFic UBER-ARCHIVE." This is the memories function! It allows tmnt_adult to catalog fiction posted in any public turtle community that fits the 'mature' or 'adult' category. This means that (when this is completed,) a member of tmnt_adult could uncover a gem that's actually nestled at the bottom of turtlecest, turtleslash, or tmnt_fanfic. Search by many of the same categories as the tags listings! By type of sexual situation, Medium, Genre, or Pairings.It's not really as confusing as it looks. Just click the links and try it!
We are not the only TMNT Fan Fiction community out there--on lj or otherwise! We encourage readers and writers to visit all these fine sites to meet and share with other fans of the TMNT.
Mikey's TMNT
Mikey's is a PG-13 forum for discussion and posting about artwork, fiction, video games, movies, tmnt sitings, and general turtle-fandom. Once you have more than 50 posts, you can petition to join their hidden ADULT section, called "DARK OBSCURITY." Inside you can find adult-rpg, adult fiction, and adult discussion. Consult their rules for details.
Stealthy Stories
Stealy Stories forums is another PG-13 forum, but this one focuses on the writing aspects of the turtles fandom. Authors can get individual 'author's forums' there, and keep the body of their work centralized. They, too, have a hidden ADULT section open to members with a clean track record and 50 posts. Check out their rules for details.
The Technodrome
The Technodrome is one of the oldest turtles forums and has grown phenomenally. They have discussion about any turtles topic under the sun--and some that aren't. They have an extensive rpg section, fanart section, video game section--heck. It's massive. If you're looking for a big audience, you've found it on the Drome. Top rating allowable (to the best of my knowledge): PG-13. Please check their rules for details.
tmnt_fanficWe encourage folks who write stories under the "R" or "M" rating to check out the tmnt_fanfic community here on Lj. There's no pesky age restriction, and it's a much more suitable audience for fiction without graphic sex, as well as a friendly, wholesome environment.
turtlecestTurtlecest is a very focused lj community, centering on romance/lust between the four Turtles. They allow EVERY RATING and do not consider themselves an adult community. Check their rules for posting adult content. They've been highly active lately, so you're always likely to find something new and shiney.
TMNT-L forums
TMNT-L has been around since BEFORE THERE WERE MESSAGE BOARDS. It started as old-school fans writing LETTERS to one another! Like...with PAPER. Craziness! But they learned to make messageboards, then mailing lists, and now it's a forum with nice people and LOADS of space to talk about anything and everything TMNT. Please check their rules for Ratings accepted.
tmntAnother Lj community, this one is mostly dedicated to sharing icons and talking about TMNT current events. Fiction can be posted to it (though not the adult stuff), and fan art flows through there. It's a good place to put your 'ear to the ground' on TMNT events and happenings.
