I was watching the pet spoon segment on Youtube, and it's not quite like I remembered it.
I swear I remember there being a whole drawer of happy spoons instead of just one, and their being silverware instead of red plastic.
I'm not the only person who remembers it this way, so I'm thinking I may not be completely insane.
Anyone else?
(Either way, it's still the cutest thing ever.)

I directed this video (and drew the characters) for Halifax, Nova Scotia-based band The Superfantastics.
Matt and Steph (the two members of the band) contacted Paul Fierlinger beforehand, who gave his blessing on the production. We sent him the video, and he said it brought back a lot of great memories. That alone made it worth it.
I hope you guys enjoy it!

so i joined a little while ago, looking for inspiration for a project... aka my brother's birthday present. his birthday isn't until august 27th, but i got really excited and made them yesterday:

Is there a special word for this kind of animation that was used on the show? Was there ever anything else done this way, because I vaguely remember seeing something else that was. Also, Action League Now! always reminded me of this show!

I'm so excited to see this community.
I wish I could find a clip of the 'episode' when Teeny Little Super Guy met the egg beater boy (I think he was an egg beater) who was getting the pet spoon.
I want to see the pet spoon eating the sprinkles again.
Anyone know where I can find that clip? Or better yet, ALL the TLSG clips?

For my birthday in March, my friend Jeremy made me this shirt and I thought you would all appreciate it:
He did all the screenprinting while I did all the altering to make it fit. (Apparently a kid's large is HUGE these days).

A lot has been going on, especially with people doing so much lately!

I don't believe this!
Last night at work I was bored, doing a little mini puppet show with some salt shakers and cups and whatnot, and singing a line from the Teeny Little Super Guy song... NOBODY knew what the hell I was talking about! None of them remembered the coffee-flavored Pepsi from the 80s either (please tell me somebody here is hip to that); I think they probably think I hallucinated most of my childhood!
So glad to have found this community! :)

Ok, I expect tons of love for this post... lots of people adding me to their friends list... the whole works... I dug and I dug, I had to do some video editing in virtual dub... but here you go, if this goes over well, I might be able to find and secure more, just be sure to comment:

I figure a lot of user icons can come out of this one file, animated too! :) The filesize is 10megs for those on dialup worrying. If you are on dialup it'll probably take about 50 minutes to download, but the nostalgia is well worth it. The picture is crystal clear (just a nick jr. australia logo in the upper right corner) and it's a nice trip down memory lane.
