Your sentence is meaningless. How the hell can "Mac catch up to TiVo"? They aren't competing in the same market. TiVo makes DVRs, Apple makes computers, 'Mac' is an operating system and/or product line made by Apple.
The correct sentence might be that 'Tivo is finally catching up on the Mac what they already have on Windows'. This is about TiVo, a company, designing software to run on operating systems, linux, mac, windows, etc., not about an operating system catching up to company that makes software for an operating system.
Sheesh.
