Summary: They've both seen the mark of her in different rooms, proof that the memory of her, like a ghost, still remains; but now they see how her things affect him.
Excerpt: Dust hangs lightly in the air, slowly waltzing in an eerie blue light, and her fingers on the door handle slip downwards, curling softly at her sides. She wasn't sure what she had expected to find. The silence of the room is not friendly, but neither is it uncomfortable; it almost seems sad, and she wonders, a little, how she got to the point where even the absence of something could be touched with tragedy.
A/N: I've not done a fic remix before, like many of the others here, and I tried my best to stay true to the core of Lost and Found while still making it my own.

hippiebanana132 has such a marvelous way with words, and they stay so true to the characters it's unbelievable. I didn't know what to expect when I was writing this, but it ended up really exploring both Martha's emotion and logic, instead of the words she spoke, and Donna's compassion and understanding. Hopefully I've done the original a bit of justice, even with the differences that they have.

Words, unspoken, ring in the corners of the console room, and crowd behind her teeth; waiting for the dam to break.
