theinternetcafe. Ever wanted to see what would happen if your character chose a completely different path than the one she's on in-game? This is the place.
This community is mainly geared towards playing with "The Year That Wasn't" from the Doctor Who/Torchwood universe, post "The Sound of Drums"/"The Last of the Timelords". At any point you may post a scene or journal entry that takes place during that year: but they must fit within the constraints of that setting, i.e., the Master rules the earth and all humans are subject to the Toclafane.

A note: There is no time limit to playing Year That Wasn't. We're not going to try to cram a year's worth of plot into a week, not is there a particular end date. The community is open for as long as people want to post to it.

- Note where/when your scene is set in the subject line
- Note if the scene is plotlocked to a particular character or if it's open to anyone
- If you are doing a "Year that wasn't" scene/entry, please tag it with "year that wasn't"
- If you are doing a "Turn left" scene/entry, please tag it "turn left"
- Tag your entry with the character(s) involved
- Include warnings for adult content, which must be behind a cut or in comments.
- Follow the usual rules of roleplay. No godmodding, no unnecessary drama, no flaming.
