I am Derrick Wildhaber, a fellow terrorizing unicyclist from Broomfield, Colorado. I can be found ripping it up in the mountains near Boulder, Colorado where I like to catch and push down mountainbikers, runners, and small furry rodents on my Torker DX (24" x 2.75" knobby, for the mud that comes up to your waist). For these and many more reasons, I think I'd make a most stellar contribution to your sweet and awesome gang.

I just talked to Jen(the kid's mom). She helped him write the email, so everything is cool. I told her that someone would email him back in the next few days, because "he'd probably get a kick out of hearing from us." I told her also we'd probably get together at Wentz Run sometime in late march, april, or early may depending on how the weather cooperates, and that we'd drop her a line then if he wanted to come show us his stuff.
So who wants to email him back? I think we can do it somewhat in character, just as long as we keep it tame. His mom understands the "gang" is a "joke" and thought it was hilarious.
Oh yeah, it sounds like he might be better than we are...

I'm thinking we play this up. Update the website, then develop a press kit and start sending out press releases about our conquests to every newspaper we can find.

Good news--we have a new applicant from South America. I think a presence on this continent would be most helpful to our plan of world domination. He says he also has a group of followers whom he teaches the dark arts of unicycling.

We should have a Thunderwheels meeting next weekend. Steve even said he might show up, because he likes unicycling and would be able to leave whenever he wanted due to his driving himself.
