I was dinking around IMDB and there is a Thundercats movie slated for release in 2010. It doesn't have any info though b/c you have to have a pro membership to view what they have. Anyone know anything about this?
(Yes, I know that there was a spoof movie going around with Matthew McWhatever and Tea Leon. I don't think that this is the same thing.)

Since nobody else had things to say about the nomination list, it's been declared official and binding. Complaints about it now will be ignored. You had a week to say something.
Feel free to use the list to reference when voting. It's here:
http://www.purrsiathunder.org/06noms.htm Some of you already voted, but here's the lowdown anyway. If you notice anything off, incorrect, or whatever in the polls let me know right away. Unfortunately, to alter the poll after it's posted will delete any votes taken so far and we'll have to start over on that one if a mistake was made, so I would have preferred people have waited a bit to start voting but ah well. Hopefully, I didn't mess anything up. I did manage to get ALL polls up in all divisions. So this is it for everything. Good luck to all! I remind you that voting is anonymous, so don't worry that your bestest buddy online will be mad at you when the polls close and they see you had the gall not to vote for them ;) This is why it's anonymous! Polls will close automatically on March 3rd, so be sure you get your votes in. You get only one vote per award and nobody but the mods can see the tallies before the polls close. What can I say, it's good to be mod ;) Yes, as with nominating, voting for yourself is discouraged but if you don't have any conflicts of conscience about it, there's nothing we can do to stop you. Do whatever you can live with. After polls close, results will automatically post to the group. I'll gather and announce the results at the active boards and comms in the TC community and winners (or those that tie, in such cases) can feel free to pick up their awards here or email me for them. They will be yours to display as you wish, and a link back to the group is not required though it would be appreciated to keep interest going for future awards.
Nominee and winners lists will be kept at the group as usual, and I'll also post results in the usual area of my site. Other site owners are encouraged to also share/promote the results of the awards whether you win or lose. Never hurts to support each other and give winners some props and linkage.

Hello, fellow Thundercats fans. This post is letting everyone know that our preliminary work to get the Fifth Annual awards for the fandom off the ground is almost finished, which means the "fun" parts are just around the corner. Nominations are expected to begin in early February, so if you haven't already joined the Yahoo group where things take place, feel free to take the time to join up.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TCfandomawards/ For those who don't know, the awards are put together by fans to honor fans who have contributed to the online fandom in many forms - websites, fan fiction, fan art and so on. It's done in an encouraging spirit and I hope everyone considers coming on over and nominating/voting for those whose fan output you've enjoyed throughout 2006. Joining now is helpful too, because we've been releasing our lists of potential nominees that will be eligible for the awards, and this is your chance to look those over and speak up if anybody was overlooked. We do try to be as fair as possible during this whole process and I wish everyone the best of luck in advance. There's been some great stuff put out by fans for Thundercats in the prior year, so as long as we get some interest and participation, this should really be fun. Remember, the more fans that take part in the nomination and voting rounds, the less skewed the results will seem so as they say, every vote counts! Rules and procedures can be found in the files area of the group once you join, and of course, if you have any further questions, we'd be happy to address them in posts at the group. The band in the special features of the latest box set was interesting. What a bunch of cards. ^_^
I wonder why the drummer wasn't included in the interview ???
Who else wanted to jump into the Tv and take the real Sword of Omens away from the drummer at the end of the video? It was beautiful! I freaked when I saw it.
Mom and I were visiting when we decided to watch it and when I saw the real sword I screamed, startled poor mum half to death, whoops... ^_^;

YEAH! Tomorrow 2nd season of TCats is being released on DVD. I am so looking forward to once again seeing the episodes that introduce Pumyra, Lynx-O and Bengali not to mention those Lunnies Alluro, Tug-Mug, Chilla, Red Eye, Amuck and Luna!! Now if only they could have extras on the DVDs where the voice actors talk about their experiences on the show!

I've created a moodtheme for Thundercats, which can be downloaded here. Caps are from here.
I've also made a Photoshop CS brush set out of cartoon logos/images, including Biker Mice From Mars, Gargoyles, Transformers, Thundercats and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which can be downloaded here.
