Friedrich Nietzsche— debatably one of the most influential philosophers since Socrates. Active in the late 19th century, Nietzsche revolutionized western philosophy forever. He is probabley best known to the world for his brutal attacks on morality, religion, philosophical systemizers, and science, and for forming such doctrines as the Übermensch, the will to power, and philosophical irrationalism. He is, of course, most famous for his god-claim:
"God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him."
