Aboutwelcome to "thrift score!" - the livejournal community that hopes to represent the thifting spirit!
how so?
1) by trade and selling: you can post items here that you would like to either possibly trade/sell to others. once they get in contact with you about the items, and you decide to make a deal, "thrift score!" is in no way responsible for bad arrangements. if something bad does occur, that person's lj name will be used as a subject for memories, with comments as needed. yes, they shall be sacked!
if however, the person you have been dealing with was friendly and speedy throughout the whole transaction, then, praise him/her so you give everyone a heads up, saying "hey, this person is so moderatly neato to deal with."
2) bragging: have you gone to a small little flea market, a goodwill, salvation army, pawn shop, and found something that you just have to tell everyone about? spill it here! bragging about your finds is all part of the afterhunt! never a bad ting to brag about your little thrift score!
3) get to know people: thrifting is fun, and hanging out with freinds is fun too... let's make this a fun little community - get in the whole spirit of it all!
