Will I fix it? Eventually. At my own leisure. So I suggest that if you're hotlinking, save the images NOW and upload them yourself before they disappear.

Hey, everyone. Recently, I've had to deal with a personal issue which pretty much killed all of my creativity. I'm still not back into layout-making and I doubt I will be for a while; accordingly, I don't have the spirit to answer layout questions. Here's a tip: many of your problems can be fixed by going through all the Customize Journal Style settings.

Honestly I shouldn't be posting this at all, because it: a) has absolutely nothing to do with CSS/my code, and b) it's not my theme layer. Nevertheless, I get so many questions about this that I think I should just link to the tutorial I used and be done with it.

It's from a Flexisquares comm, but it works just fine with Smooth Sailing and Expressive, and probably most of the other styles as well.

A tutorial for achieving the effect I have used in my journal. This should work in all browsers. However, please note that I have only tested this hack with Life's a Spectrum -- if it doesn't work with other Expressive/Mixit layouts, it's up to you to adjust it as needed.
