About The Work
I create icons and so forth based on my interests and whims. I am self-taught as far as the software used is concerned and it is an ongoing learning process. I do this because it is fun and for no other reason. You should note that I make icons and graphics that display correctly based on my monitor's settings. There can be a vast difference in color, sharpness and general usability between computers. To see what I am seeing (or at least a close approximation) adjust your monitor settings here: screen check.
I also make screen caps of the fandoms I follow. You'll find plenty of those here as well as the occassional fan vid and whatever else happens to strike my creative fancy.
About The Membership
This community has open membership. You don't have to join to see the icons or other graphic work, so feel free to just watch the community of that's all you are here for. Those of you who know me as [info]bobomagickicons know that I occassionally post and share other creations as well. For that content you do have to be a member as those entries are going to be friends-locked.
About The Rules
The rules are simple really:
No Hotlinking
No Altering
No Claiming as Your Own

Feedback is welcome and I won't hunt you down to see if you've credited, but it is appreciated. Free advertisement, if you will.

For more general "rules" see this post by [info]teh_indy
Resources
As with most icon makers, I use resources developed by others while creating my work. I try to keep track of them all and have set up an entry within the community to give them credit here. If you see something of yours and aren't mentioned there, feel free to speak up and I'll correct the oversight.
Affiliates
If you'd like to be an affiliate of This Woman's Work, just ask. I'll provide a link back to your site/journal/community and if you have a button or banner, I'll display that as well. All I ask is that you do the same for me.
