| | depeche mode | ] | i'm contemplating doing an LJ version of 'this book' and some other compilation ideas of my own and others in my own personal LJ.
i'll post twice weekly instructions or suggestions for hysterical living that could be followed and then shared as a group among one another. this should allow ample time for experimentation and results sharing and lots of laughs.
if you are interested in participating, let me know and i will add you to my friends list and the string of peoples to participate. if you just want to watch and read, thats ok too.
any comments and suggestions are much appreciated and happy day to everyone. |

| FLASHMOB! |
[Apr. 1st, 2004|12:04 pm] |
Dear Sir/Madam,
You have asked to be informed of Benrik flashmobs.
The April 1st flashmob takes place tonight at 8pm local time, all around the world.
Participants are to converge on their nearest hospital’s accident and emergency department, and complain of a strange new disease whose only symptoms are a painful left eye and a constant urge to urinate. Good luck.

Said a prayer to God in a church parking lot, couldn't get the guts to go in.
For my day of Swedish
Played a joke on the phone w/ my Mum at some point...
Today I will apply for night-hood. Similar to knighthood, but involves staying up very late. |

Make People Notice You: I couldn't think of anything to do to be noticed. I didn't shower yesterday, maybe people noticed that.
Sense-less Day: I did a great job of being blind from 7am-1pm, while I was sleeping. Other than that, I had to work, and to drive to the boardshop, and it is generally not recommended to use knives or cars with your eyes closed.
Going to Colorado tomorrow morning until February 29th, planning to keep up This Book and will report back at that time!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARK! |

It's not very poetic. I'm not even sure it is iambic pentameter, I have no rhythm and am poor with poetry. I randomly chose words until I had five stressed/unstressed pairs.
But hey, I'm done for the day! |

| | 88.9, the impact | ] | Today the grey sedan failed to stop. My contacts are so flaky. I must dissociate with the Russians as soon as I have paid for my schooling. I think Australia would be a much better country to spy for.
My sunglasses fit in with the weather, so nobody was the wiser.
I am slowly eating the page, as I type this. It doesn't chew well. I would have thought they might try to flavor it, but no, they did not... being a secret agent is hard work.
PS: I'm seriously eating the page |

He landed on my alarm clock.
I grabbed my remote control, and BAM... today's task is complete. |

| | Billy Idol, "Rebel Yell" | ] | I was instructed to have a stranger write down their first impression of me in the book. I barely made it ... at ten to midnight I handed the book to a girl who had just come of the bathroom at Espresso Royale. I had actually gone to the League earlier today specifically to accomplish this task, but all the people seemed very hard at work and I didn't want to bother anyone. So everyone at the League's first impression of me was that I'm too nice to bother them. Anyway, so this was the first impression I made:
"Assertive comes to mind, friendly, easy to get along with. Trendy-stylish (horn-rimmed classes/t-neck sweater) and cool enough to be pals with Daffna (sp?)!" She also wrote next to the day marker: "not much time left, huh? =)"
So yay! Although I probably cheated a little bit by giving it to someone who knew Daphna, she was a stranger to me and I to her so it works.
Day 47: Last night I counted all the sheep and there are 370. The ticking actually kept me awake. I kept going and I think I got to around 450 at which point I kept getting confused and repeatedly counting from 430-460 until I dozed off. |

| | Autechre - Bike | ] | Corn is a vegetable.
Popcorn comes from corn. I will eat popcorn all day long.
Unfortunately I'm feeling tremendously Australian today, and since it is now 12:47 a.m. on Wednesday there, my popcorn day has already passed, which also happens to allow me to eat what I wish at Lily's Birthday Party this evening.
I am a cheating bastard. I rock.
PS: Yesterday went well. In case you didn't notice, I discreetly gave you the finger as I tried to clear my eye of something. Yes, I am that devious. I also discreetly gave the finger to my boss, the bus driver, two professors, and a few other people on the bus. This really isn't that different from my daily routine, now that I think about it. |

Day 12: What's Your Type?
My type... * laughs easily and cries when necessary. * enjoys the Times Sunday crossword; has his own subscription as I have let mine lapse. * reads a book every once and again; Reader's Digest condensed books do not count. * ponders children's questions. * sings in the shower. Horribly. * like cats but wants a dog. * pronounces it "ray-men." None of this "raw-men" nonsense. * appreciates a night home but wouldn't object to a night out. * thinks hospital corners are essential when making a bed. * sleeps on the left side of the bed. The right's already claimed. * knows that overhead light is oppressive; lamp light is divine. * is educated. * spends long summer weekends at the beach. * isn't ashamed to read a picture book every once in a while.
Day 13: Send a Letter to a Mass Murder
Sent a letter to Byran Uyesugi, who killed several co-workers while on a rampage at Xerox back in 1999. I sent him some literature on the upcoming election rather than a letter, figuring that everyone needs to be informed on the upcoming vote.
Day 15: Be Gay for a Day!
Managed to get Lane to kiss me. Does this count? |
