I was asked about this tutorial ages ago (so long ago I have no idea who even requested it) and am finally posting it.

Okay, here's the deal: I opened up my file, stumbled my way through the darn thing only to realize at the very end that I'd originally made two very similar banners and this was not the shiny happy banner I ended up posting. Fun, fun.

So...Instead of throwing it all out, I've decided to just go ahead and forge ahead, write two (very similar tutorials) and let you decide if you want to use version 1, version 2, a combination of both, or neither. :)

Okay, I've been wanting to do this for awhile. Awhile back I saw what's called an "inspiration post" by andirealized, which is where people like you can think of themes or ideas you'd like to see brought to life in the form of icons and graphics, and leave your suggestions here.

I'll add them to the list, and whenever I'm lacking inspiration or in need of a jump start, draw from the ideas gathered here and post a batch.
