The Witches 3? Galindas, Elphabas and Nessas. Oh my! By the witches 3 we mean all of the
actresses to ever play those three characters. This community is devoted to the girls of Wicked.
Entries exist mostly in the form of fanfic. Though graphics and news are also appreciated!

When we say girls of Wicked, we would prefer the content of this community to be about the girls;
however, if you have news, creations or fics containing the boys of Wicked please feel free
to post, but mention that it's a boy thing, not a girl thing!

All posts in this community are set to automatically friends lock posts. Please keep it that way for fics, thank you.

All new members posts are set to moderated status, which means a mod needs to approve your first post. Once you have proved you can post properly you will have free rein. Please see rules re: posting fics & graphics below.

Disclaimer - The fics in this community are all fictional parodies - none are true, nor are they approved of by the celebrities named in the stories. Authors write these fictitious stories about famous people for the same reason that Larry Flynt made fun of Jerry Falwell, because they can. The Supreme Court of the United States, the country where most of the actresses and members of this community reside, has ruled that parodies involving famous people are perfectly and totally legal under the United States Constitution. The specific case law on this was decided in the case of "Hustler Magazine, Inc. et al. v. Jerry Falwell" in 1988. No harm is intended toward the celebrities featured in these stories, but they are public figures and in being so, they must accept that they are fair target for parodies by the public. We believe in the first amendment, and more broadly, in the basic principle of free speech and this section may push the boundaries of that principle, but the United States Supreme Court has approved of this type of material. We believe that the Supreme Court was correct in their decision.

2. No flaming peoples fics - we're not going to like EVERY fic posted. You don't need to tell an author their work sucks. Please try to offer criticism constructively. If you can't do that, keep your opinions to yourself or take them elsewhere (ie, your own journal).

3. Keep posts on topic - meaning, all posts have to have something to do with any of the actresses from Wicked.

4. Please, no personal posts telling members you're going on holiday or your friend had a baby and called it Idina - that's why you have your own live journal!

We understand that real person fic isn't to everyone's taste and may upset people.
However, we who write it DO understand that it is just fiction and is not meant to
represent real life and anything written in fics may be purely coincidental.

Please understand that the mods of this community have no control over what is written
and posted on here, if anyone has a problem with any fic posted, please contact one of the
mods (by either commenting on a "mod post" or leaving a comment in our personal journals).
We will endeavor to do the best we can to rectify any disputes or upsets.

When posting any fics, please be sure to include a rating in your post and any disclaimers/warnings...
Please mention which pairing the fic features prior to the LJ cut.
Put the actual fic under a LJ cut to save clogging up peoples friends pages - this is essential! Please add the
fic title and your username (but not in LJ tags) in the subject line of the entry; It all helps when we memory the entries for the members to see. If you don't add a proper subject line to your fic, it wont be memoried.

Fics will be memoried by rating:

G // PG // PG13 // R // NC17

...by "character" pairing - in alphabetical order. Example, Idina/Kristin.

And by writer.
