• The Grand Canyon - I was here for New Year's Eve/Morning in 2005/2006 and I watched the sunrise while wrapped in a blanket with my boyfriend, it was the most beautiful and romantic morning ever! I'm hoping he'll bring me back soon (maybe this coming New Year's at the latest) and propose there. Or he could propose in a sewer, I'm not too picky about where, I just want that proposal! ;-) Anyways, the Grand Canyon would be my absolute favorite because of how romantic and sweet and wonderful it was! That, and I got to see two deer and one let me get within about five feet of it before freaking out!
• Paris - I went here with a student group in fall of 2000 and I would love to go again. Being with a group definitely took away from the experience, especially since it was a group of people I wasn't too fond of, but regardless of that, it was obvious that if I visited the city with decent people that I would have a fantastic time! (I can't wait to revisit the Eiffel Tower with Patrick!)
• White Water Rafting almost anywhere - I love white water rafting and anywhere that offers decent white water rafting can be counted as a favorite getaway spot for me!
• Gatlinburg - Patrick and I took our first vacation together to Gatlinburg. It was my delayed "senior trip" after I graduated from high school. I had been there several times before with family, but it was tons more fun with Patrick!
• Seattle - Patrick and I went to Seattle in January of 2005. We ate at the revolving restaurant on top of the Space Needle(?) or whatever it was called. The restaurant was amazing and we had lots of fun walking around seeing things. We also took a ferry up to Canada and visited a museum; I got almost got sick on the ferry though.

There are lots of places that I still want to go that would probably bump a couple of these places off the list! For example, I think Alaska would probably bump Seattle and Australia/New Zealand would probably bump Paris. Of course, those are more "adventure vacations" and I tend to like those more than just going somewhere and doing random stuff!

So, I've noticed that all of my places are on this list because of Patrick in some way or another, even if his name isn't actually attached to all of them! I guess that just means I'm either obsessed or he's just a really big part of my life . . . or both! He seems to sneak into everything I do even if what I'm talking (or typing) about has absolutely nothing to do with him!
