25 -- A letter to myself
[This is written in Tally's journal, and could be hacked.]

Dear Tally,

I don't know where you are in normal time. Everyone else has shifted too, so it's hard to pinpoint where Nautilus is. But I'm guessing that since there are traces of meat sauce in the foyer and your--our?--sneak suit is gone, this is shortly after the Game ended.

Oh, your "toys" are in Robin's cave. It took me weeks to find them. I think he's gone now, so it should be empty.

I have some advice for you. It's too late for me to warn you against politics and the force; you've already made those mistakes. Had I the time, I would have changed those for you, too. But you have to live with failure.

Anyway, first. Swallow your pride. You're going to get into a lot of trouble with the robots if you don't shut up once in a while. When things get really bad, talk to Pyralis or Jefferson. They help a lot.

Don't worry about rewiring. Your worry is inhibiting your bending. The rewiring will come naturally, once you bend some more nature. The Southern district is nice, but get some nice stuff out by your mansion. Decorate the prison with some rhododendrons. Your goal was to defend nature. Now go out and create it.

Third...well, I probably don't have to tell you this. You're still feeling guilty about "abandoning" Ratchet. But don't go home, Tally-wa. Just don't. You're needed here. "There" is fine without you.

Oh, and your first date? Don't order the chicken. Yes, you're going to go on a date. No, I'm not going to tell you who with. But seriously, don't order the chicken. Go for a salad or something.

Things get better, Tally. It sucks right now because you keep antagonizing Megatron, you're letting your own failures overwhelm you, and you just got out of being a bubblehead for two weeks. Take a nap, take a walk. Things get better, I promise.
