About
thesubculture is a club for the alternative peoples of West Yorkshire (and beyond). Situated in the shell of the bassment and just round the corner from the legendary le phonographique, it has an impeccable pedigree. It has been opened by the efforts of 20+ investors from Leeds, Yorkshire, Manchester, Edinburgh and even NYC who share a love of the alternative scene and a good night out.
here is a map to our location - we're on the ramp at the bottom corner of the merrion centre on merrion street opposite the entrance to the St John's Centre Car Park.
We offer rock, metal, goth, industrial, 80s, emo, electronica, indie, new romantic, j-pop, ska, psychobilly, j-rock, riot grrl, cyber, punk and of course alternative. and almost certainly some other bits we haven't even thought of yet ;)
