brush

Make brushes! There is no limit on how many you make. There is no limit on what size you make them. There is no restriction on how you make them or on how much or how little you adjust them before posting. It's completely up to you, just so long as they are submitted by January 9th :D
Of course if anybody has any questions about what a brush is or how to make one feel free to ask :)

The intent of this challenge is to make us all try making something different because while we've had the option to make brushes for previous challenges, up until this point nobody has taken advantage of that fact.

Enter your submission as a new post to the community, including a download link for either a bursh file (.abr for Photoshop users) or an image pack (a .rar or .zip file with images of the brushes inside of it) and a 100x100px preview to be used for judging. Also remember to tag your entries with your username, 'brush' and 'challenge 24'.

Also don't forget you've still got two weeks left for challenge #22: path and four weeks left for challenge #23: yellow

psd

First thing I've made in a while... I'm semi-happy with it. I probably should have chosen with a stronger bone structure to path-sculpt, but oh well. Oh, also, the path layers are labelled (I had to disable them so that I could draw on top of them without it getting messy).

Woah, this took time! I'm happy with the result though (exept for the face area), have never made anything like that before!

(I used the texture on 100% opacity more than five times, but I also used it on lower opacity - I hope that's okay!)

mini-challenge

Use this texture a minimum of five times in your graphic. It can be on any blending mode but it must always be 100% opacity.

Now like regular challenges you can make any kind of graphic you like, but unlike regular challenges there is no limit on the amount of entries you make. However, you've only got a week to make your entries.

Remember to enter your submission as a new post to the community and include your .psd (or alternate program equivalent). Also remember to tag your entries with your username, the kind of graphic you've made and 'mini-challenge'.

Also remember to enter our currently running main challenges:
challenge #21: hard - every layer must be set to 'hard light'
challenge #22: path - incorporate the use of paths into your graphic design
challenge #23: yellow - make a predominantly yellow graphic

hey guys, I just wanted to clarify that you shouldn't get too worked up about the whole "include five paths" thing for path. Really, as long as you've shown that you've used paths and you've experimented with them a bit, it'll be fine.

Also we've got one more hard week left, so get those entries a comin' :D

Yes, this icon is on crack, and yes, I've spent way longer on this icon than any other I can think of.
