The Glitch Twins are back, and this time their bills are not getting picked up by Dagmar the Mail Lady whenever they pay them. This has caused the Repo Man alert thing to come up. Since both Boy Twin and Wife of Boy Twin are Fortune sims, this is a little problematic.

I've checked everywhere and I'm about as certain as I can be that one pile of bills isn't just hiding somewhere. I definitely noticed a lack of Dagmar on the day after the paying of the bills. The little flag never goes down. It's weird.

Also, I swear there are no mods or hacks or anything in my game, just straight-up vanilla base game + Uni, with very minimal custom content. I have never had any glitches at all, aside from a few floating teddy bears, before Glitch Twins graduated. So yeah. O_o

I happen to have Seasons lying around, waiting for me to get totally bored with Uni. Any ideas on whether installing it would clear up weird glitches?

Hey guys, this is kind of weird, so I'll try to explain it as best I can.

I decided this week that, after playing my game for about two years, I wanted a fresh start -- I'm going to uninstall and reinstall my entire game. There are two Sims that I adore, and I really want to package them to install once my game is re-setup. I exported their files using SimPE, but when I go to Bodyshop, it keeps saying "Bodyshop has stopped working" (the program doesn't even pop up).

I've been using Bodyshop for ages, and nothing like this has happened. I googled the issue, and some say it happens to people using Vista (like myself), but it would have been malfunctioning before if that is the case.

So, what can I do? If I still have the raw SimPE files, will that be enough to take over into a new game, without packaging them? I'm pretty desperate at this point.

I got terribly sick of the exchange being down and not being able to share my stories - and having to transfer a story that was already written in the same to a Power Point and then the Slideshare and then here ... well, it was a process ... so maybe it's not as "pretty-fied" as I might have otherwise liked. When I try to load one of my residential lots, the game crashes. This has happened to me before, with a fraternity house of mine. To fix it, I simply moved out the household using the neighborhood screen and moved them into another house. That wasn't a problem because there wasn't anything important in the house, but with this lot, there are a lot of graves/paintings/career rewards I'd like to keep if at all possible. Is there anything I can do to fix it without resorting to moving the family out and losing everything?

I have a bit of a problem. The other day, I installed Pets and University. Everything went fine and dandy; I even went inside a house and bought the family a gerbil. I saved and exited as normal. A couple days later, I booted up my game and got a message telling me I had uninstalled both games. The only problem is that they still show up on my computer under "Programs" as installed. If I insert a cd to try to install them, it trys to launch the game.

Can anyone help me? :)

This whole entire scenario might not make sense to a lot of people, I've been running on bare knowledge and following steps because they tell me to do it, not because I know why XD;; Ok, I'm working on my first male maternity default replacements, and am two-thirds of the way there. I've been able to replace the textures of the three male maternity outfits easily. I tried to change the mesh, and that's where my slight problem is. HP from MTS said to change the mesh, you need to change the GMDC. Alright, so I load up simpe, click on finder down at the bottom, and search for all resources with "maternity" in them, figuring that was my easiest way to find the GMDC related to male maternity. Well, I found only one. I need three separate mesh replacements, because each outfit uses a completely different mesh. So, I thought I would give it a try, and used the GMDC to make mesh replacements for all three I need to. Well, it sorta works. The only problem is one mesh is used for all three outfits, which isn't right. (But that makes one outfit look good at least! XD)

Next I tried taking the default replacement meshes and putting them in the same package as the textures. That actually made things worse. The only thing I found out about linking meshes and recolors tells me to look for a 3DIR, which my retexture and mesh file don't have. :/

Any help? Is there something in the mesh replacements I need to add to make sure it links up the right texture replacement, so I can use three different meshes? Thanks for any help you guys can give! It's probably so freakin easy, but I haven't figured it out yet :/

Every time I tell one of my Sims to get into the jacuzzi, she strips naked instead of changing into her swimsuit. I checked, and she does OWN a swimsuit, she just isn't wearing it. Everyone else on the lot (it's an apartment building) wears swimsuits in the jacuzzi, so how do I get this one Sim to do it? I've tried Plan Outfit...Swimwear and she still doesn't put her swimsuit on for the hot tub.

It's not the worst bug I've had but it does seem like a bug.

Hello, I posted here a few weeks ago with a problem about getting custom furniture to work...it still doesn't work. I had to wipe out the computer I was using so I got the Sims 2 Double Deluxe, University, and Pets. Uni and Pets stopped installing; Pets at 64% and Uni at 68%. I still have no idea why. Anyway, so I figured now that I have Nightlife and stuff things would change, right? Nope. I downloaded a dining room furniture set and then just to check I went into Content Manager and sure enough, again all the furniture was in red. WHY ISN'T THIS WORKING? D: I can't find information on it AT ALL. All the stuff is directly into the downloads folder, no subfolders or anything...what am I doing wrong? :( Thanks in advance.

1. The storytelling folder used to load all the new pictures at the top for easy reference, but now it automatically shuffles them into households with the rest, and it's really getting tedious to sort out. Is there any way to reset it back to how it was? I'm a Vista user.

2. I recently had to restore to a backup. Could I add any of my old pictures and thumbnails that I had previously saved? What if I rename them to replace existing ones? Pointless, I know, but I'd really hate to lose some of those pictures, and I like to keep everything intact for my story.

I have twins in University. Well, they both graduated, FINALLY, and so I went to have them call the neighborhood to move back home. First one called, and then stupid me didn't wait for the car to come and take her away before having the other twin do the same thing. So they both just stand there, doing nothing. I turned off motive decay, because the girl twin was about to starve, and decided to wait out the clock. Neither of them got sent home when the clock ran out. They seem to be completely stuck. They can't do anything. The game runs smoothly around them, but if I tell them to do anything, they walk a few steps at most and then the command disappears.

Is there any way to get them back to the home neighborhood, or are they totally borked? I love them both a lot and don't want to have to lose them. Unfortunately I saved after calling the second twin's car.

My only EP is Uni.

EDIT: Problem solved, the twins are now happily moved back in at home. Thanks for everybody's help!

1. after seeing the amazing pics in the favorite rooms thread at the sims2 community, i want to know how everyone decorates their sims' homes. do you pick a color, try to recreate pictures from decorating magazines, go by the sims personality, or do you just have an eye for it?

2. this one relates to the favorite rooms threads. how do people take really good pics of a room with the walls up? i rip a wall down and then zoom in from there, but there must be a better way.

I've looked through the tags for nanies but couldn't find this.

Where is the hack/mod to allow you to have either a teen nanny, a young adult nanny or an adult nanny? I had it before I had to reinstall my CC and now can't find it anywhere.

Oh there was also a hack where you could choose to have your kids taught at home and other school options, i'm sure it was at Simbology but I can't find it...
