9:23AM - Welcome aboard two new members!

Welcome aboard Bait and Switch.
That's J.L. Bait, the ships Gaoler and Switch, the ships Slave
Trader. You might wonder what we need a slave trader on board for...
well, a slave trader would be in charge of "prisoner resolution". I'll
take their word on it. Sounds plausible :D

That makes a crew of fifteen. Woohoo

9:22AM - More Crew! Awesome!

August 30, 2005 - Welcome new crew member...

We've got us another new member to the crew! Welcome aboard to the Brit... the ships new Morale Officer. She'll be "whipping" you scallywags into some form of semblence that represents a crew.

August 15, 2005 - Welcome another new crew member...

We've got us another new member to the crew! Welcome aboard to the talented Tiki Pirate - Friki Tiki...
the ships new StitchWitch. Just because she can run a mean stich, don't be meaning you'z can just get her to fix your britches (or other things)... of course, being a good pirate, she's libel to take bribes... but that'z between you and 'er.

August 11, 2005 - Welcome new crew member...

We've got a new member to the crew! Welcome aboard to the lovely and talented Bella Rose... the ships new Bartender. I'll probablyl be having a page where she can pass along the latest wild and crazy drink to make you hang over the gunwales and praying to the privy monsters! Give 'er a big pirate welcome when you meet 'er at faire or other activities.

9:45AM - 4 days and a wake up

Until what you might ask? Well, that would be the opening of the MDRF, that's what.

Planning of and thinking of doing a tailgate before and after faire.
Right now Bronwyn has offered to bring/make Mimosa's and maybe breakfast sandwich's.
Mayham is thinking of bringing a cooler of goodies and I can probably provide a cooler of something.
If there is anyone else that wants to bring before faire or after faire vittles, let me know.

I'll be flying A flag over me truck to let everyone know where it is. No, not the ships flag, that's still a work in progress.

Crew update, now stands at:

Captain Major Chaos
First Mate Major Mayham
Second Mate Pam
Quartermaster Havoc
Master At Arms Master Robert
Steward Mistress Elisabeth
Skolar Bronwyn
Cook / Sculler Shana

11:38AM - Community Created - The Roving Eye

Okay, for those on the crew, I've created a community for the ship. Since I don't have a bulletin board service to use for the ships website, this will have to do for now. I'll have to see how well it works and how others feel about it.

I've sent out a few invitations to join the community, for those who aren't LJ savvy, the invitations show up in the Manage Accounts page, under the Account informations section or you can go here, I hope that works. I presume you have to be logged into your LJ account to find it.

I've set the community to be managed so, requests to join have to be approved, I presume by one of my maintainers or myself. :D Such a brave new world I ventured into.

Okay, back to piratical things!

8:00AM - The Community starts...

This be you're Cap'n... and this be the community board to let the crew keep in touch with each other and let each other know of any happings within the crew or at a personal level.

Crew members without an LJ account can email me anything they'd like to post and I'll add an entry for you. Membership in the LJ community is NOT a requirement of the crew. It's helpful to post, but not required.

The .ships website is available and will have updates and anything else that can't really be setup on here. I'm no expert in web design, so it's a basic site, with non of that fancy shmancy flash stuff. I've been considering setting it up on a hosted server somewhere and getting a domain for it, but at present, I'm being to lazy to do that and more importantly, to lazy to pay for that, at this time.

Technical mumbogumbo...
- I be the Cap'n!
- I reserve the right to screen all posts and comments.
- I reserve the right to add or delete members if I feel the need, all though I'll probably not delete... unless you really piss me off.
- I'll assign maintainers as I see fit, and prefer that any changes that would like to be made get my approval first. I've got two maintainers besides myself at this time.

OK, input into the community design and website is encouraged. If I can incorporate anything new, I'll give it a try.

That's it for now.
