AboutSo on the one hand, you have the PZB communities that consist of "Which Lost Souls character are you?" quiz results and pleas for PZB to write more vampire erotica. On the other hand, you have ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)
prime_liquor and nextroundsonme, cool places created with the express purpose of not becoming Lost Souls fan communities, with the unfortunate side effect that posters who so much as mention the pre-Liquor books sometimes get yelled at. Also, subject matter on those two communities tends to range far and wide, which is fun, but I thought there might be some call for a community that focuses more exclusively on the books.

docbrite) created this community in hopes of making a place where readers can engage in intelligent discussion of all my work. I'll try to answer questions whenever possible, though I can't promise to get to all of them. Membership is open for now; if we start having troll problems, we'll moderate it. Also, if you have previously caused enough trouble to be banned from one of the other communities, please do not join this one: there aren't that many of you, I remember your names, and if you join here, you will be preemptively banned. LJ makes such things so nice and simple.
There are just a few rules, for my sanity and yours:
* No posting of "What Lost Souls character are you?" or other such quiz results. No, you probably aren't Zillah, and if you are, I don't want to hear about it.
* No posting of fanfic, fan art, or links to same. Also, no fan icons, please. Sorry, I know you created it with love in your heart, but this just isn't that kind of community.
* No reposting of Mean & Nasty Stuff About PZB or links to same in the spirit of indignation or "just because I thought you had a right to know about it." I may have a right to know, but that doesn't mean I want to.
* While you are welcome to discuss your preference for a particular book or "era," please don't ask when I am going to write more about Steve and Ghost, when I am going to "go back to my roots," or any of that kind of crap. If you like something I've written, I am glad and grateful. However, that does not mean I care what you would like me to write next, or that I welcome your input on same. It sounds harsh, I guess, but most writers would tell you the same thing if you asked them; we tend not to have a whole lot of choice about what we write.
* If you are doing a report for school or have some other need for basic information about me, please take the time to look around my website first, especially the page that includes old interviews. You can probably find a lot of what you need there. I'll try to address conceptual questions, but I don't have the time or inclination to do your homework for you.
* Please try to keep posts on topic (i.e. discussion of PZB's published work). If you'd like to comment on the content of PZB's blog entries or other topics, the places to do that areprime_liquor and nextroundsonme. Both of these communities now have open membership, so while you must be a member to post in them, you will not have to wait for moderator approval before posting.
