AboutThere are so many times when you have thoughts swimming around in your head that you wish you could express eloquently, but just can't seem to. Chances are, somebody else has already said what you're thinking, and they've said it perfectly. Enter The Perfect Quote. If you're quote-obsessed, quote-curious, or just bored and looking for some interesting reading material, hopefully you'll find that this is the place for you. Read quotes, contribute quotes, meet people, and have fun, but please keep in mind a few rules:
- always cite the author/source of the quote
- if you see a quote attributed to "Unknown" and you know who said it, help out!
- keep 'em short
- it's okay to be cheeky (most of the fun quotes are), but this is not the place to be offensive
- please limit subject lines to an author's name (if posting more than one quote by that person) or a theme (if posting more than one quote on the same topic) to make indexing easier. otherwise, please leave the subject blank.
Once a decent chunk of quotes have been posted, they'll be archived in the memories by author and subject matter.
