Office Encounter!
I saw B.J. Novak's standup show at Caroline's in NYC last night.



His show was really funny, and he was really really nice. The shirt that I'm wearing is 3/4 length sleeves and kind of heavy material. It was in the high 80's in NY last night, but it was all worth it when I stepped to the front of the line and he said "nice shirt". :D

I adore cafepress. I own a 3/4 sleeves "Ryan Started the Fire" shirt from there myself.

Also, it's totally awesome you got to meet BJ. From everything I've read he seems really genuine.

That is really awesome! I met him back in February when he did a show in DC. I was kind of a buffoon and very starstruck, but he was very nice. His show was hilarious too.

That is so neat that you met B.J.!!! I love his character. I started watching The Office when it came back after the writers strike and so I have bought season 1 and 2 and he's pretty much great! I love it when he tries to get away from michael and gets all uncomfortable.

Oh, wow! I was at the show, too. Which one did you go to? I went to the 8:00 show, but I didn't know that he was meeting people....wish I had stuck around longer, but it was so crowded.

Yep I was at the 8. I really had to go to the bathroom (TMI/don't go there) after the 2-drink minimum, but my friends had staked out the crowd and found out from a guard he was coming out. I went to Hal Sparks a few years ago and took a pic with him, so I had told them to be on the lookout.
