AboutWelcome to themed_icons.
This community is for all artists, regardless of experience, who love to make icons & compete in weekly contests. People who don't make icons can still take part in the community by voting for their favorite icons.
RULES
1) All icons must be part of the "theme" (example: depressing, politics, travel, animals, etc).
2) If you are participating in a contest, please enter your icons in the comments of the theme announcement.
3) You may submit up to 4 icons per contest.
4) The icon can contain text and/or animation if you wish.
5) If you would like credit, ask for it in the post. If the artist asks for credit, please do it!
6) Do not claim someone else's work as your own.
7) Anyone caught posting other artists' icons to another community without permission and/or credit will be banned permanently!
8) Please do not vote for yourself.
9) No drama. No flaming anyone's icons. And if you don't like how things are done, you're welcome to leave. Anyone causing excessive drama will be banned.
SCHEDULE
Contests run from Thursday until Midnight Eastern Time the following Monday.
Polls run from Tuesday until Midnight Eastern Time Thursday.
Winners will be awarded based on number of entries.
Less then 8 entries -- First, Second & Mod's Choice
Greater than 8 but less than 15 entries -- First, Second, Third & Mod's Choice
Greater than 15 but less than 21 entries -- First, Second, Third, Honorable Mention & Mod's Choice
Greater than 21 entries -- First, Second, Third, Honorable Mention, Special Category & Mod's Choice
