Rules of the Loos
A recent post outlining rules and other information can be found here and includes:

- What's said in the Loos should stay in the Loos. This is intended as a safe place for people to vent and talk about personal stuff - please respect the confidentiality of locked posts and don't talk about the content elsewhere.
- We welcome women of all backgrounds, lifestyles, sexual orientations and opinions. We ask posters to remember the diversity of our membership when posting. In particular, if you're discussing a particular way of life, remember there's probably someone in the community who belongs to it, and be sensitive. This applies to both original posters and commenters.
- If you're posting about sexual stuff, please put it under a cut tag and flag it as non-worksafe. Posts that may be 'triggering' (upsetting) because of their content should also be cut. Uncut posts containing certain swearwords may conflict with 'net-nanny' software - please be aware that you may be asked to cut these too.
- Posts are now friends-locked by default (only visible to community members). However, if you want to make a public post (and public posts are encouraged, as a public information service!), you can edit it to be public after posting it. Please flag public posts with the word 'public' in the subject line.
- If new members want to introduce themselves, there's a getting-to-know-you quiz (which many of us have already answered) here. Because we get lots of intro quizzes, please put it behind a cut tag.
You can also post a picture of yourself on this thread, if you'd like to, and you can see what some of our other members look like, if you want to put faces to names!
- New members (and existing ones, from time to time!) are strongly encouraged to read this post and any subsequent updates.
- Please don't post email forwards or memes. Chances are many of us have seen them before.

loos_adverts is open to anyone who is a member of theladiesloos or loos_company, and commercial adverts are welcome there.

How do I join?
All women are welcome, but we'll try to prove you're a woman before letting you in. If you click the 'join community' link your request to join will be noted, and approximately once a week the mods will ask on the community if any existing members can vouch for you, to say that you're definitely a woman. Each prospective member needs two vouches; once you get them, you're in. If you don't know anyone here, send one of the moderators an email and let's have a chat.
If you would like to contact the Mods for any reason, please feel free to email us at ladies.loocleaner@gmail.com. You can also contact our "Aunties" (who help out with anon posts) on loos.aunties@googlemail.com.
