1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?
Yes I do. I like a clean house. However a messy room.

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
I don't think so. Does anyone?

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
Dirty dishes. I hate doing someone else's dirty dishes.

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?
Work on my writing in my head or listen to music and sing along.

5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?
Umm picking up. Just the general picking up because my roomies are messy.

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?
not particularly... Unless it's the kitchen. I'm very anal about cleaning my kitchen. Other than that I don't mind a little mess

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
I like doing laundry... don't know why

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
when people don't soak their dishes if they're going to do them later

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?
I try to listen to music if I can

5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?
clearing the table because that's what I do...

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! ...uh, no. Why not? Have you seen any of the places I've lived?

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
No, not really.

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
Doing dishes. Because no matter how many of them you do, they just DON'T GO AWAY.

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?
I think if such a feat were actually possible, we would have ceased considering them "chores" centuries ago.

5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not? I think I'm a decent housekeeper, but not the best. I do try, but it is so hard to get stuff done when you're looking after a 6 month old who demands most of your time!
2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why? I like using my Swiffer, with both the dry and wet clothes. I just find that I get a better clean than with the mop or broom, and the Swiffer is a lot easier to use. No having to fill up the bucket, or anything like that.
3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most? Cleaning the bathtub. It just seems that no matter what I do, it never looks "clean". I know that it's an old tub, but it bothers me. I used Tilex on it a few days ago, and I haven't seen any rust stains since then.
4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"? I just buckle down and do them, just to get them over with
5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why? Cleaning the tub, for the reasons stated above.

Let me add that while I prefer things to be clean, I don't mind a bit of clutter. It's rather hard to be clutter-free when you have a limited amount of space

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?
Hell, no! I just...don't really bother in the first place.
Truthfully, I'm a starving artist and I kinna live the life; either I'm going out with my friends or I'm working on my animation projects. I do enough housekeeping to make sure I don't get flies, but beyond that...

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
Not really, no.

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
I guess taking out the garbage, primarily because it involves putting on enough gear to go out--not so bad in the summer, but in winter it kinna sucks--and then trying to cram my shit into the dumpster that's already overflowing because my apartment complex seems to generate the same amount of garbage as a small third world country...

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?
Mostly, I try to do them when it's convenient rather than letting them pile up and then do a big ol' Chores Day.
Like only taking the garbage out when I'm going out anyway. Or when I'm cooking, I actually wash any pots or pans right after cooking the meal, even before eating it, so nothing gets all crusty or stuck, and then I wash the dish I ate out of right away too. Makes life a bajillion times easier.

5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?
Well, I guess that would be the dishes, cuz I kinna have this horrible habit of eating, like, every day.
But because I live alone, it's more like doing dish. ;)

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?
Yes and no. I enjoy a clean house and I clean on a regular basis, but there are some things that I suck at like dusting and cleaning the sideboards...bleh

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
I like vacuuming our hardwood floors - I got a Shark for Christmas and it's freaking awesome.

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
Cleaning the bathroom - it's just gross!

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?
Well, I just think of it as an investment that's going to make me feel better the whole week. If I get all my chores done my mind feels clearer and I don't have to worry about them for awhile.

5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?
Dishes because we always have to eat and laundry because I've discovered that doing loads several days a week then it gets done faster.

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?
I do not. My desk at work is immaculately organized and is a paragon of cleanly order. My home is not like that. If I've said it once, I've said it a million time: a clutter monster lives in my shadow.

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
I love doing laundry. There's something about clean clothes that satisfies something deep inside me.

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
I loathe vaccuuming. I tend to avoid carpeted abodes. The fact that we're living in a fully carpeted townhouse at the moment irks me to no end.

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?
Honestly? I blast Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance. It's the only thing I've found that keeps me on task. For some reason I don't get distracted as easily if this is playing. I don't understand how or why, but since it works I don't question it.

5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?
Emptying the dishwasher. I do 90% of the cooking and inevitably, the dish/utensil I need is in the dishwasher. And since I’m in there already I just finish it off.

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?
No, generally I do not. My spaces always become messy and chaotic. I'd like to think it's somewhat cute that my surroundings are so disordered... and that it means I'm a whirlwind of creativity and thought...but in the end, I realize it's due to downright laziness.

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
I love sweeping. I also love wiping things...like cleaning windows, the tv screen. And I adore trimming the hedges. Very cathartic.

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
For some reason, I've always hated folding laundry. I also dislike doing the dishes...because nothing sucks more after you're stuffed and sleepy with delicious food in your gut than having to stand, bend, and scrub for an hour.

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?
Music. Music makes just about anything better.

5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?
Spraying things with my Clorox "Anywhere Hard Surface Spray" and wiping it down. Love it. I imagine all the germs dying and I feel so accomplished. ...Maybe I'm OCD.

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?

A good one? No... but I guess I try sometimes. It just seems so useless to worry about a messy house when it's just not organized. Now if there's mold or flies or ants, then I'll clean stuff up. But if it's just some clothes laying around and books untidied or dusty then it's fine.

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?

I love vacuuming. LOL It feels nice to suck up all that hair and dust and dirt. I like looking at what used to be there.

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?

Folding laundry! So annoying.

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?

Well, it does feel nice to live in a really clean place...

5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?

Tidying up stuff. I like having available deskspace.

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?
God no. I'm lazy and rarely ever clean. I hate it. :( My room is usually a mess and the rest of the house could use work. I -think- about cleaning but then I never do it.
2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
I don't enjoy doing any. There's some I tolerate and the rest I hate.
3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
Cleaning the toilet. :( It thwarts me.
4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?
Listen to music. Or I tell myself I'll get something nice afterwards. Usually I bargain with me and get the nice thing first and work after... but then I lie and don't clean. D:
5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?
Picking up my room. It gets messy really fast.

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
Not really. Who would enjoy doing chores?

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
Doing the dishes. X.x I hate it when people leave the food on the dish/bowl. Why not wipe it off before you put it in the sink?

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?

I think I'm a pretty good housekeeper but there is always room for improvement. I like the house to be tidy. When it's untidy, it stresses me. I'm a firm believer in "a place for everything and everything in its place." Having said that, I won't say that everything in our home has a place but I strive for that.

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?

I enjoy doing laundry (washing, drying, and folding). Cleaning windows and washing walls are others that I enjoy. I feel like I've exercised when I do those!

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?

I can't think of anything that angers me. I am frustrated by the accumulation of piles of things around the house. I do not enjoy cleaning up a pile of clothes that someone has laid across a chair or bed :-o) I guess the only thing that truly frustrates me is trying to keep the floors clean.

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?

I love to listen to music while I clean. Classical music is wonderful for this. I find myself lost in the music and don't really think about the chore I'm doing. I also like to get the kids involved so that things are done quickly.

5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?

Even my hubby could answer this one. I am most often doing his favorite.... Vacuuming! I have to rib him because he is always picking on me about using the vacuum. I have no idea why he does either. I mean, doesn't everyone vacuum at midnight? LOL! I do this most often because I'm obsessive over clean floors.

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?
I might not be a good one, but I'm an obsessive one. The kitchen? Has to be clean. All the time. I'll go through it with a sponge and cleaner at least three times a day. I tend to be the one that picks up after everyone else.
2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
No. As much as I do it, I actually really hate cleaning XD
3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
Someone else's chores.
4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?
Blast music and dance around, try to ignore the fact that I'm miserable.
5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?
Cleaning the kitchen, as mentioned above. Because I have weird obsessions and compulsions and dirty kitchens give me panic attacks. Hah.

No, I'm a slut, living with another slut (I'm sure he won't mind me saying so...)

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
Ironing is often a good excuse to watch old films and re-runs of classic sci-fi series. And I like gardening. Does that count?

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
All the ones that you do, feel self-satisfied about then turn round to discover NEED DOING AGAIN. *What* is going on there?

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?
Er, not doing them, usually.

5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?
Loading the dishwasher, because I like to eat.

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?
Not really. I'm good at laundry, and washing dishes, but piles of paper have been known to sit for months on end without me touching them.

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
I like laundry for the good smells, dishes for a clean sink at the end, sweeping and mopping, washing windows, and cleaning anything REAAAAAALLY caked with dirt for the beautiful results.

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
Dishes, when someone has left a sink full of dishes sitting in cold dirty water. Also, general picking up because we have no where to put things.

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?
I sing to the baby and tell her about what I'm doing, so it feels more like a life lesson.

5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?
Washing dishes and clothes. There's five adults and one infant- we make lots of messes.

1. Do you consider yourself to be a good housekeeper? Why or why not?
AHAHAHAAHA no. I tend to go on mad cleans once every little while, and the house is a disaster area the rest of the time. I'm too spread out right now to learn the skills I need to have, so talk to me again when I'm living in a little room.

2. Are there any household chores that you enjoy doing? If so, what and why?
No one chore in particular. In fact, I need to have a variety of them going on to maintain sanity. I am a bit scattered and it's easier to move between multiple chores to keep myself on track.

3. Which household chore frustrates/angers you the most?
I hate cleaning things that don't clean, like older fixtures/carpets. I need to see some productive result to my efforts.

4. When doing household chores, what do you do to make them seem less of a "chore"?
Good tunes and a few interruptions to flit between.

5. Which chore do you find yourself doing most often, and why?
General pickup and the kitty litter box, cuz I like my organized chaos and because the cats don't do it themselves.
