Friday Five for 07.08.05
Money! suggested by [info]eafm. Feel free to substitute in your own currency.

1. How much money is in your wallet right now?
2. How much money would you need in the bank to feel secure? Rich?
3. If someone gave you $100, no strings attached, what would you do with it?
4. If someone gave you $1 Million, no strings attached, what would you do with it?
5. How much does something have to cost before it starts counting as "real" money, as a purchase to be considered and evaluated, but below which you'll buy without really thinking about it?

1. How much money is in your wallet right now?
AU$62.45 & NZ$5

2. How much money would you need in the bank to feel secure? Rich?
Secure, $10,000, Rich, anything over $50,000

3. If someone gave you $100, no strings attached, what would you do with it?
Buy them a present or take them out for dinner (assuming it's someone I know) and use the rest for general everyday spendings... if it were a complete stranger, probably use it to treat a friend or two to dinner and/or a movie or something...

4. If someone gave you $1 Million, no strings attached, what would you do with it?
Clear my debts, buy a small house/unit and a mid-range car and split the rest between my family & close friends

4. How much does something have to cost before it starts counting as "real" money, as a purchase to be considered and evaluated, but below which you'll buy without really thinking about it?
I think about everything I spend money on that isn't essential (ie groceries, rent, bills etc)... I don't buy a CD without considering how it fits into the budget...

1. How much money is in your wallet right now? none whatsoever, unless u count cc
2. How much money would you need in the bank to feel secure? um, a lot right now
3. If someone gave you $100, no strings attached, what would you do with it? put it on my cc
4. If someone gave you $1 Million, no strings attached, what would you do with it? pay off my cc, put tons into mutual funds for college, and use some to help my parents out or something. oh yeah, and buy green day concert tickets.
5. How much does something have to cost before it starts counting as "real" money, as a purchase to be considered and evaluated, but below which you'll buy without really thinking about it? really depends on my mood. some days i'll be really cautious about spending $50 on one item. other days, well, one time in cali i spent $160 on 5 pieces of clothing in one blow. like i said, it really depends on my mood and how much money i have.
