Author's Note: for those not in the fandom loop, Flanvention is a Firefly/Serenity convention, supposed to take place this weekend. It was cancelled yesterday. Jayne made me make this note.

This was great! Just what's needed after the bad news. Love the dancing chicken! LMAO. With ballet shoes and everything.

My favorite part is definitely this one: "people selling beagles", "we should look into that", "felines are better suited to catching rodents". River really really really wants a cat, doesn't she? :o)

And Jayne's one-track mind ("nekkid women!") is always a hoot.

And I think I still owe you a comment for the previous part, don't I?

Live from Burbank, lj user's Akin, Moweasley, and ceslas along with about another 450 Browncoats are thrilled to meet each other live but more importantly, amazed at the outpouring of support, humour and good will from all those who could not be here. We are thinking of all of you.

I think my favourite line is the one Mal *didn't* write... right after 'we should look into that' he very loudly didn't write 'that too' with an arrow toward Jayne's 'Nekkid women'.

He wanted to, but decided it was uncaptainly.

I've been reading these over at Serenity Tales and just found them here... beautiful and creative, as always. And so funny! I've been sitting her reading all of the notes and trying not to fall out my chair.
The BDH's turned up at Flanvention! Makes me proud to fangirl them.

Thank you! This note was directly inspired by Adam Baldwin appearing in the hotel to boost morale. It was just such a nice thing to do and, I think, the upswing people needed to start believing that it could still become a great weekend.

The character personalities don't have much to do with the actors, at least in my head, but reading about this prompted Jayne to insist that they had to go. It's hard to refuse Jayne when he insists.
