Description:Erotic images of men for a female audience - discussion and debate
About
This community engages women themselves in attempting to separate the fact from the fiction when it comes to what turns women on.
  • What makes an image of a man erotic for women?
  • Why has 'porn for women' failed to draw an enduring audience?
  • Are women even interested in erotic images of men?

Membership is moderated to prevent vandalism etc, but we rarely decline membership applications.

Rules
  1. Any member can post
  2. Answer and comment as yourself - you're being asked what you think, not what "most women" think.
  3. Post as Members only.
  4. Put images under an lj-cut, or link to them. Make sure cuts or links specify that there's an image behind and whether it's work safe. Non-explicit linked thumbnails are acceptable.
  5. Include a poll if you post an image or ask a question. This gives a more accurate picture of the spread of opinion - people don't always have time to comment.
  6. Share with the class: Rather than adding pictures in comments, make a new post of them. That way everyone gets to see and comment.
  7. Men are welcome to join. If you're a guy, please try to to remember to mention this each time you comment, and tick the 'I'm a guy' option in polls if you want to vote. We're not trying to be difficult, but this is a community for researching women's views, and if someone wants to analyse women's views, it's important to be able to easily separate men's views!
  8. Say why you like or don't like something in as much detail as possible. There are no right or wrong ways to feel about an image, but uninformative comments like "Sorry, I don't just don't like this at all" or "I don't like his hair" are not useful - What don't you like about the image? What don't you like about his hair?
  9. Be honest about how you feel about images, but avoid flaming. The photographer, artist or model may be members!
  10. The emphasis is on images of men, but other relevant images or research may be posted.
  11. Credit the maker of the image if you can, eg, "image by Susan Smith".
