| Challenge #139: And it's growing |
[May. 1st, 2009|12:13 am] |
Thanks loquaciousquark! Hereee comes the next challenge.
Challenge #139: And it's growing
The prompt can be taken in any context, but for the curious (or uninspired), it's a line from A Comet Appears by The Shins (the link takes you to the rest of the lyrics, and you can hear it here). I'll announce the winner in two weeks, on May 15th! Hop to it. :D |

| Challenge #138: Comforts |
[Apr. 22nd, 2009|02:02 am] |
Title: Comforts Author: anthimeriate Word Count: 100 Warnings: None, it's entirely tame Challenge: #138 - Song Titles (Coldplay - Viva la Vida) Note: I took lyrics as my inspiration for this challenge (the ones I've used as a cut tag). I actually started out taking the whole song and was trying to do a drabble on Hakoda, and it turned into just these couple lines and Katara instead. It always amuses me when my entire writing plan changes. XD Sibling-centric.
( Be my mirror, my sword and shield / My missionaries in a foreign field ) |

| apologies |
[Mar. 3rd, 2009|07:56 pm] |
oh!
Man, I'm so sorry... I'm so embarrassed I forgot about this. I recently picked up two more jobs over the past two months, and just the other day I gave one of them up. During all that time I had very limited internet access.
I don't know if a vote has been started yet, but I wanted to declare issues09 (As a general rule I really don't like to even think of incest, but your short piece was tasefully done.) the winner for my challege. I hope you can forgive me for the lateness. As I mentioned, I have limited internet access, and it's probable that I won't be able to participate in the next couple of challenges.
