BACKGROUND
Welcome to the one and only Sam Uley and Leah Clearwater community, [info]thealmostlovers! This community pertains to the romantic relationship of Sam and Leah, characters from the Twilight book series created by Stephenie Meyer.

Sam Uley and Leah Clearwater were high school sweethearts living in La Push, Washington. They had a wonderful relationship until they broke up some time after Sam's sudden change into a werewolf. Sam could not tell Leah of his change, leaving her in the dark, and though they might have been able to overcome that, the final nail on the coffin came when Sam imprinted on (and therefore fell in love with) Leah's cousin and close friend, Emily Young.

Now, Leah has also turned a werewolf and has become part of Sam's pack. On a daily basis, both of the almost lovers have to live with hearing each other's thoughts: Leah's of bitterness and anger, Sam's of his consuming love for Emily. Talk about awkward!

Yes, as livejournal communities go, there are some rules.

1. Follow all the rules. I know, I know, I sound like a mean, old lady telling you to be quiet in the library. But if you just follow the rules, there won't be a problem. Karin and I can easily run this community without any issues.

2. This community is for the relationship of Sam Uley and Leah Clearwater only. Mentions of other pairings in the Twilight universe will not be allowed unless it has to do with Sam and Leah. It also means that graphics, icons and fan fics should pertain mainly to these characters.

3. Don't advertise for other communities. Come on! If we're here to talk about Sam and Leah and their doomed (but awesome) ship, how can we do that when someone is all like "But I like Jacob and Leah better together!"
