AboutHello and welcome to the Thief Lord community! This is a community for Cornelia Funke's fantastic novel Herr der Diebe, and for the upcoming movie!
COMMUNITY RULES
1. Concerning posts and their contents
Introduction posts are very welcome, but have in mind you must say something else beside 'Hi, I'm new and I love Scipio cos he's hot'. Perhaps you have a story to share about how you came to know The Thief Lord, or come with icons, drawings, theories, or something. This is not mandatory, but we would greatly appreciate it :)
Requests are also very fine, but please check out the requests page! It may already have your request.
LJ-cuts are NECESSARY when posting spoilers, long fanfiction, or drawings. If you are showcasing more than 10 icons, you also need to use a lj-cut. If you igonore what a lj-cut is or how to use it, please go to the help page.
Your post MUST contain something about The Thief Lord (book or movie) Cornelia Funke, or the actors portraying them.
You can post anything your little heart desires: rants, theories, essays, icons, colourbars, wallpapers, screencaps, links, news, fanfiction, fanart... However, if it contains material unsuitable for children under 13, you must use a lj-cut. This includes any slash/yaoi/yuri/shounen-ai/shoujo-ai stuff, please.
You can only post things done by yourself, unless the author has allowed you to do so. If you don't get permission, you can always post the link :).
Authors, please post your rules again and again every time you post materials (comment, no direct-linking, credit, etc).
Any post containing hate, rude, offensive, sexist, racist opinions WILL BE DELETED.
2. Concerning Feedback

bellywasher) or any of the assigned administrators (no one at the moment) by either e-mailing them or commenting in their personal journals. Do not open a post unless it's something of extreme importance.
If you disagree with someone's opinion, do not comment if you are not saying things nicely. This community is a great place to share, discuss, and compare points of view and theories in a CIVILIZED way.
3. Concerning the Usage of Materials
ALWAYS CREDIT THE AUTHOR! The community does not do the icons, wallpapers, colourbars, or anything, the member do. So please, do not credit 'I found them in the Thief Lord community'.
4. Concerning Nettiquete
We will not tolerate p30pL3 Wh0 t4Lk LiK3 D1Z. Thank you.
Do not promote your community.
5. Concerning Rule-breakers
I ask you to report anyone not obeying the rules, please. This is for the general good.
If you are caught disobeying the rules, you will be warned twice. At the third one, we will have to be very strict in your actions. If your behaviour persists, you will eventually be removed from the community
You will be immediately removed and without previous warning if you make ANY sort of offensive, rude, hateful, racist or sexist comment.
You will be able to rejoin if you are willing to negotiate it with Ginny (bellywasher)
