Hey-ho!
So I have been dying to rent The Thief Lord for months now but the guys at work (I work at The Land of Wonderful Fictional Magic....Blockbuster) discouraged me so I kept on ignoring it. However the thing spoke to me the other day and yelled at me to rent it so I did and sent the guys to hell. I saw it this morning with all the windows and doors open wide and the magical morning breeze coming in and all that.
It. Was. Awesome.
I am aching to buy the book. I want, no no, I need more of this story. I want to learn about the characters and their adventures and just everything.
Meanwhile, I've been googling and searching and just stripping the damn internet raw looking for fanfiction and I've only found the ones here. I loved those but I am more of a novel-length/relationship building/adventure involving/not centered only in the relationship/not angst but not fluff either kind of girl. I loved the bit of smut I found here though, very nice. And I loved that it was slash. Exactly what came to my mind as soon as Scip came out of nowhere and Prosper just stood there all brave and cute. *sighs* I thought "Oh my, the delicious slashy possibilities!". So in summary, does someone know a Thief Lord fanfiction archive, site, something? I know there's ff.net but I think there's no NC17 there and well, I like the story to build the relationship credibly, for it to be believable, not just hey we're gay, yay, but I also love the smut so yeah.
So about me, my OTP is Harry/Draco, and I also love Severus/Hermione, Draco/Ginny and Ron/Pansy. Twilight speaking I'm on Team Jacob, though I don't really like Bella, Jake can do better, and wouldn't it be awesome if Jake met a vampire and somehow that worked out? Yeah. Queer as Folk is my Sundays and free days and Brian Kenney is the sexiest man alive and I'm from Puerto Rico!

So, I've been working on this little fic for a long while now, after I couldn't get it out of my head for weeks, and kept dreaming about it night after night, and now I'm not sure if I should continue it or not. I do want to, but I'm also unsure of how the hell I'm going to manifest the whole thing with the finesse that I'm aiming for. I don't want this fic to be bad, at all, in any sort of way, and so I guess I'm just thinking it to death.
Anyway, I'd really love people's opinions on whether or not I should really work for this fic or if I should just give up now.
