Steven Strait was born March 23, 1986. He was born and raised in Greenwich Village, New York, and started his modeling career in order to pay his tuition at Xavier High School. His plans to move to Southern California were averted when he was cast as Warren Peace in the film Sky High, his first film role. Since then he has appeared in the films Undiscovered and The Covenant.
Steven has attended such schools as Stella Adler Acting Studio and the Black Nexus Acting Studio. He's the lead singer and lyricist of the band Tribe, which got their first record deal in late 2005. So far, no news is yet forthcoming on when their first album will be released.
Steven has a younger sister, and his mother is a third-degree Karate black belt and a long time east-coast Karate champion.
