Okay, so I'm switching over my screen names. Jods had me down as mindswim, which is painfully old and no longer in use. Not that I use Livejournal much for other than the groups, I figured I should update! Hi again!! I was Lone_Shadow_Wolf. I was horribly lame, horribly obsessed with the chat, and now I'm an old, bitter lady that plays on Harpers Tales with other people from Sinny. I love how this whole thing comes full circle.
I was reminded this Thanksgiving how embarrassing it makes me when I'm reminded of this chat. My 26 year old brother, my parents and our significant others were all around the table eating turkey this year, when he goes, "Hey! Remember when you role played on that wolf pack chat?" He then proceeded to do a mock howl and the entire table erupted in fits of hysteria.
It's been 10 years since I freaking joined Sinlahekin, and you continue to seep back into my life. Yay! I think we should all plan a huge group meeting one day. I assume we are all getting to the point of being "of age" and sooner or later, we all need to meet up somewhere in the US and have a big drinkfest and remember all the good, bad and awkward times. I propose coming to Washington DC. I live here. :) Anyhow! Peace guys!

Okay, so this had to be done. All the different posts with handles tossed all over was upsetting my brain.
Anyway, here is a list of LJ usernames matched up with handles that I've picked up from various posts. If you are not listed here, it probably means that I hate you. Not really. Hey all!
So as it appears a lot of people did I had to google up Sinlahekin again and see if it was still there as it was the roots of my Rping history. Now I have decided to give it a "bump" and leave a current post.
Damn I think I was just ending middle school and starting high school when I first came here. Now I am graduating college in a few months. Ahhh how time flies when you're having fun.
Sinny was the first place I played a wolf character and I actually still continue along those lines in RP today though I have graduated to lycan. Though my RP SUCKED back then and I did many... odd... things.... it was still the beginning of a loooong journey whose roots I owe to this place.
So here is my own personal tribute to the amazingly still existent Sinlahekin!

LMBFAO. I didn't realise any of this would still exist XD I guess I'd tried to block it out of my memory: what an embarassing, pathetic couple of years for me! Like many of you have stated: pretending to be a guy, trying to be cool, dark and mysterious, having a thousand handles, with more hyphens than sense...
Um, struggling to remember any of them now, but I know one of my firm RL friends and I annoyed the crap out of everyone with BeerBoy and Lagerman. I had Windleap-the-Wolf at some point. And I RP'd Ann-Lewis with Robocop. Oh, and the infamous Richie-Moon or whatever the hell, who has somehow morphed into a tall, simpleton pirate. His partner in crime, originally Sam-Vimes, is now a foppish cabin boy. They live on (to some extent) in original fiction and corresponding doodles.
I can't remember any other atm.
God, I am such a big loser XD

Ok, so apparently I have Sinny pop into my head occasionally. So, i search and I RE-FIND this page. lol. I made a post a few years back on here wondering if anyone remembered me. Maka did!
Anyways, its always interesting to see who is all still 'around'.

Oh. Oh my.
I was randomly reminded of Sinny tonight and I did some hardcore detective work (googled sinlahekin) and found this place. You have no idea how much I'm grinning right now as I read through the entries because I seriously remember every single one of you all, even if we didn't really chat. Because I threw away my childhood in that Beseen chat. I'm Distort, Snap... even... *shudder* Goku the Saiyan....
I think I've been trying to repress memories of this place because I'm so terribly embarrassed by how I acted, but the truth is Sinny was a huge part of my 4th-8th grade and you guys are my internet roots. I don't remember a lot of what went on (Blackthatch, BWB, Hellwolves... it's just one hilarious blur) but I'd love to chat up some of you fine ladies who have ever /a howls for a mate *eyebrow wiggle*
Things I remember:
Evil wolf packs.
Stealing pictures from Yerf and editing out copyrights because they looked ugly.
RPs where we fought humans, because they were putting us in the back of vans and driving away.
How names with hyphens were so much cooler than names with underscores.
(of course I was a girl pretending to be a guy, I hope I didn't really fool any of you guys with my "quality" charade.... or pictures of my brother. I think I would have to hang myself if any of my friends ever discovered this dark secret about my past.)

myyy goodness. wow. so i've pretty much had the same reaction as everyone to finding this place.
so i was berna, the silver tabby. not particularly well known, i don't think. i can't really remember any other handles i went by, either. but i'm still in touch with miyax and mina, and until pretty recently, with blackjewel. i knew reno, mists and saxifrace, and also sweets, and cat.
pretty much every single name i've read on here so far rings so many bells. don't know as i talked to many of you, but nevertheless. firesong, solace, maka, amaroq, castlemew, marshie, kitsu, reysies. i'll stop listing all of them. it's so weird to hear them again!
so sinny is pretty much what got me addicted to the internet, and made me some great friends to boot. think i was about nine when i found it. right after i moved to canada and we got our first computer. i remember the chatroom's dark colors. i'm sixteen now. so i wasn't around as long as most of you lot. but still!

God, the half-crazed memories of jr. high keep on running pell-mell through my skull. It's insane.
People may remember me. They may not. ;D I was RunningWind, Callista [a Jedi? I think?], um... Dark Secret, Offbeat. Wirenth? Or something like that? I can't remember all of them. I was Karigan, I think. And.. Kyla? K'yla? Something stupid like that?

Oh wow, Sinny!! It's really been forever. I was talking to someone (who may post here soon) about where we had met, and the wonderful days of Sinlahekin came up, prompting me to google it.
It's been a while since I was really active in Sinny, back in junior high or so. In college now, as it seems a lot of people are from back then.
I don't know if anyone actually remembers me, but here are some characters I played:

Can't believe I found this. ^^ It's definitely been years--maybe eight or nine--since I first came across Skagit Valley Wolf Pack. I left when it "died" and I hadn't heard anything else about it until yesterday, when a friend I have on another RPG said she used to come here.
I don't know if anyone will remember me or not, but I mostly logged on as Altair (-the-Wolf, -AgV-Alpha, -DevilWolf) and Miyax-the-Wolf. I remember FleetFoot and I used to RP horse races, too (my character, NeverEclipsed-the-Thoroughbred-Mare, usually lost, lol). I met a lot of cool people there. Up until it closed, Saxifrace and I still RPed on Crossroads MUCK. Now I'm about to graduate and I probably won't role-play a whole lot after that, but I just wanted to check up on the place I started out at. ^_^ I miss you guys!

OK, so no one's posted here in like three months, but I will anyway.
My most noted handle was one polymorphic char, Bandit-the-Basenji who became the human/elf/thing, -Bandit.
I joined Sinny when I was in 8th grade. I'm a Junior in college now. Holy shit.
I met my best friend there - her handle was Elaina, a lovely mage. Our chars were married for quite a bit in the chat, and she and I continued the RP via AIM for two years. Crazy.
Being a Creative Writing major, I couldn't resist the awesome potential to start a book from the RPs. It focuses around Elaina and Bandit, but a few others - Ravan, Melayne, Kat (Kattak!) most notably - are definatly included, even if I changed the names. I have taken some creative liberties, of course, but you may enjoy reading it. It's a serial thing, I post pieces at a time in this LJ - so if you want to start at the beginning, don't read the top entry, lol. People from Sinny and people not from Sinny enjoy it, and I'm a feedback whore. So enjoy, and if you remember my pesky char, give me a yell sometime :-)
