H/C Video - Lew and Martin

I had this urge to do a H/C video of the boys - no matter how many miles apart they are, they still connect when they are in trouble. (Oh, and someone just asked me if it was a slash video. I'd say....yeah....probably!)

The best version is here on my 4shared account:

http://www.4shared.com/file/190002847/82c366ec/Warship.html

And the slightly bargain basement version is here on You Tube - they bounced my first attempt.

Thanks to London Ronnie, Jaicen and Daybreak Angel for helping me with technical problems on Warship.

Davina in the Radio Times

Davina McCall is being interviewed in this week's Radio Times.

She was asked:

"Which TV personality was different from how you expected."

And her reply was:

"The actor Martin Shaw was supposed to be quite a private chap, so when I interviewed him I thought he was going to be quite austere, but he was utterly lovely."

Awwww, bless...

Decided I very much like this picture of MS. He talks about his role in Elvis as well as the Professionals

MS Other Peoples Money Title

Other Peoples Money 1990

Twenty years ago MS was on stage at the Lyric Theatre in Other Peoples Money, a very different Martin from Sir Charles, who we have just seen in Poirot.

I have done some screencaps, which can be found here on my LJ.

Warship Plea!

I realise I could be on a Hiding To Nothing here, but does anyone have a fairly good copy of the Warship episode that Lew appeared in - Away Seaboat's Crew? Please? Pretty please?!

I've downloaded the copy available on the NPPW but I'm trying to nick bits of it to make up a fan video and there's something corrupt about the image because it only fills half the screen. I wondered if anyone had uploaded it to a 4shared account, or saved it to a DVD that they could copy for me?

I would be so grateful. Keeping fingers crossed. Thanks guys.

Greenheart Vid - Poirot

Greenheart has made a gorgeous vid of MS in Poirot. It is not on YouTube, as they rejected the song she used, but on her new 4shared account.

The link to this can be found here on my LJ.

Who Dares Wins Special Edition

Fan power is a wonderful thing! As you may know I have been having discussions for a couple of months with Arrow Films about the forthcoming DVD and BluRay release, and they had asked me what sort of extras Lew's fans might like to see. I made a couple of suggestions to them, and I've just heard that they have managed to secure the licence for one of my suggestions and it will be included in the release!

An official announcement is yet to be made of the finalised extras as they are still trying to secure one more, but isn't it great to know that companies like this actually bother about what fans want, and will strive to obtain it for them!

Another sighting of MS!

Thanks to the sharp eyes of [info]probodie we've got more MS on tv!

Last night BBC 3 showed 'Almost Famous 3' which contained a clip of MS in 'On The Move' in 1976.

Good news for those who missed it (including me!)- the show is being repeated this Thursday evening at 8pm, again on BBC 3. And it's also available on the BBC iPlayer:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00pk6yp/Almost_Famous_02_01_2010/

MS makes his appearance at 35.18 into the show.

Enjoy!

A birdwatchers guide to Cornish Ghosts

What is a girl to do while on holidays but to immerse herself in Pros.  I've been busy watching Pros episodes and reading fan-fiction.  While not always a fan of AU fiction I decided to give a birdwatchers guide to Cornish Ghosts a go.  Having now read the five parts that seem to be available online I'm wondering if part 6 and onwards are available elsewhere.
