Hi guys.

I just wanted to write briefly and just say that I love the Puff House.

I also wanted to let you guys know that I am going to take a brief hiatus for a while from the Puff house due to RL issues and a project I'm going to start, among other issues.

I plan on being back. But I need to be away for a while.

Hello Hufflepuffs!

As I said I would, I have cleaned out the Roster according to the roll call. If you did not respond to the roll call and you were not sorted into Hufflepuff after the 20th of July, you have been removed from the Hufflepuff roster and from the community. We did give you three and a half weeks to respond, plus a couple reminders. If you have been removed, you may request to re-join or apply to platform_934 for a resort. Those requesting to be re-added will be expected to remain active.

Hello!

I'm new to the Hufflepuff House and just wanted to introduce myself! You can call me Hannah, and I am fifteen years old. I was actually sorted a couple weeks ago but I had to leave for holiday shortly after and didn't have time to check this place out. So now that I'm here, I'll do the survey that Keri posted:

1. What's the name you go by? Is it the same as when you're at home? If not, how did you come up with it? I go by Hannah, which is indeed what I am called at home.
2. Where in the world do you live? Is there someplace else you dream of being? I live in Minnesota, but I'd love to live in New York City, Hawaii, or London.
3. Are you in school? If so, what year are you? What are your favorite subjects? If not, what do you do with your time? Do you like your job? I'll be starting 10th grade this September. My favorite subjects are Art, English, and PhyEd. Currently I work at a local malt shop with a few of my friends and it's been going very well! Great boss, great coworkers, great atmosphere!
4. What is your favorite type of music? movie? book? Well, I'm not too picky about the kind of music I listen to, but I just can't stand country and rap/hip-hop. Other than those, I like a variety of music from all sorts of genres. My favorites are Sigur Ros, Arcade Fire, Semisonic, Wilco, Harry and the Potters, The Cure, The Kinks, KT Tunstall, Mason Jennings, and Radiohead! I love all kinds of movies, too, like drama, horror, comedy, action. I'd have to say my favorite movie is the Royal Tenenbaums, followed by Kill Bill and Titanic. And of course, I love Harry Potter!
5. Do you have any pets? Do you have pictures of your pets? Can we see? I have one cat named Seamus. He's about fourteen years old in human years and we've had him for about twelve. Here is a picture of him! I also have three goldfish named Clementine, Maude, and Frida.
6. When you go online, what do you do first? What do you do every day? I always check my email first and reply to those I've recieved. Then I usually check my Livejournal Friend's Page, Mugglenet.com, Lost-Media.com, and, if it's Sunday, PostSecret.
7. When you first applied at platform93_4, what made you interested in HiH? Well, I've always thought the Hogwarts sorting communities looked cool and I've always been interested to see what house other people thought I belonged in.
8. What do you think makes you a Hufflepuff? I'm not sure exactly. I've never really considered myself a Hufflepuff, but my best friend told me she's always thought of me as one, even before I applied here, so I guess I'll just have to believe her and everyone who sorted me!

I just posted the current list of members for the Hufflepuff house.Now, I'm going to post the list of everyone we removed. If you see aname on this list that should be on the active members list, pleasecomment so we can fix it.

Futhermore, this post is also acting as a ROLL CALL. In other words, if you are a Hufflepuff, please comment on this post BY 15 AUGUST. If you know someone who is on hiatus, please let us know. Anyone whose name is NOT among the replies to this post will be removedfrom the HiH+Hufflepuff rosters. We have quite a lot of members, but weseem to be dead. Why is that? Hopefully, by doing a roll call, we canremove people from the roster who aren't really here, and thus learnwhat the real ratio is.
