AboutThe Nexus Mall: it was only a matter of time until the capitalists invaded.
Merchants from a number of worlds, noticing the growing trend of savvy Nexus residents to world-hop for their shopping, decided it was time to stop losing customers and start opening new branches.
The Nexus agreed.
This multi-story engineering marvel grew from a few small buildings and kiosks brought into the Nexus, and now has room to house any and every shop a person could want. Entering on the ground floor, shoppers are treated to a fantastic set of water fountains (all donations sent to the Nexus branches of Child Protective Services and the Society to Prevent Cruelty to Animals). Unwary shoppers are often caught by the jumping fountains. Flanking the fountains are some of the most popular stores in the mall, such as Honeyduke's, Starbucks, Hot Topic and The Gap.
Beyond the fountains at each entrance is a pair of glass elevators flanked by escalators crisscrossing the open space to link each floor. There is also a customer service desk here, as well as public restrooms.
The center of the mall is dominated by a food court. All manner of food is available here, from basic fast food burgers to nine-course dinners. There are also more elevators and escalators here.
Weaponry and adult items are located in the basement, accessible only through special elevators by the food court and accessible only after you've proved that you are eighteen or older.
Forgotten your money? Need your money changed? Stop by the Nexus Mall branch of Gringotts Bank where all of your transaction issues will be speedily taken care of by the cleverest of Goblins.
Don't want to shop and you want to have fun? Well, stop by the Nexus Multiplex and see just about any movie that you want on one of it's one-hundred screens. You say you want to ride rides? On the West wing of the mall is the Nexus Amusement Park that puts both Disneyworld and Kings Island to shame. Want to get wet? On the East wing lies the Nexus Water Park where every type of water slide imagined is present. The Nexus Water Park also boasts the world's longest lazy river ride that flows from the East wing to the West and then back again.
Can't carry all that you've bought? Stop by our Intra-Dimensional Post Office where your packages will arrive at your destination before you.
Guidelines
1. Shoplifters be warned. Security cameras and devices are everywhere and anywhere, some visible and some are not. You are being watched. If suspected of shoplifting you will be taken to the Security Offices, by our capable security guards, located behind the food court. If found innocent you will be released, if not, well the Goblins need help cleaning their vaults for new customers.
Anyone caught causing trouble will also be escorted to our Security Offices. Think you have some special power that makes you think you can break out? Think again. Ourcells offices come equipped with power inhibitor fields and charms to protect against magic. We've got you covered.
2. Violence and vandalism will be acted upon swiftly.
3. If you thought you were responsible enough to have a child, please be responsible to watch said child. Strollers, harnesses, and wrist-leeshes can be rented from the information kiosk located at all major entrances. The same goes with pets.
4. If you feel that your shopping and entertainment was less than spectacular, please stop by one of our information kiosks located at all major entrances where you will be asked to fill out complaint/comment card.
5. We apologize if you came to the Nexus Mall looking for a fight or to cause some mayhem. Due to rising costs of insurance premiums, our lawyers Wolfram and Heart advised us to install an Anti-Violence Field that covers the entire mall and recreational areas including the parking garages and flight decks. Sorry but we don't like getting sued.
