The Last Banner Maker Standing

It was an open theme to see if people prefer banners that had the original icon on them or not.... ^_^' It turned out very interestingly.... Ah well. W/e.

In any chance I would like to first announce that this will be the last LIMS for a very-very long time. The community will be closed after I announce the winners, due to lack of participation. It may reopen during September, but that is very tentative. I hope you all have had fun voting and participating. Peace out kiddies~

CHALLENGE 2: Recoloring
Banner makers often get images, textures, brushes, etc. However, sometimes the images need a little... help. This is where recoloring comes into play. Under the cut you will find the base that doesn't look quite like the icon. It was recolored and submitted~ As the banner maker, you are not given the recolored image, so you will have to do it yourself~ NO COPY AND PASTING THE ICON PEEPS. :D [And yes... the original image was the real base I was given to work with. LOL.]

Simply put, most banner makers have to make more than one banner per contest per week~ Thus, you guys will have to make more than one banner this week! Okay there's only two, but whatever. Anyhow, one banner will come with all the necessary information and pictures, but the other will only come with the information like username and community. You MUST make BOTH banners. :D

Due to circumstances beyond my control. I probably will not be able to update the community tonight. I will try to when I get home, but there's no guaruntee about that. CHALLENGE 4: Seamless Banner
Simply put, your banner cannot show where the image ends and where it begins. There can be no lines, drop shadows, etc. around the icon. This type of banner is also known as a "continuation banner" in which the background is repeated in order to make it appear as if the icon never ends.
