Better late than never, right? :D;

I started out kind of far back for Steel Train (I got there late for their set and completely missed The Morning Light's set) but managed to move up to the stage when The Hush Sound came up.

Uhm. I actually took a helluva lot more than this, but I didn't think you guys wanted to see all 700-something. :D

( +151; Greta's lamp may be pretty but IT BLOCKS FACES. )

I'm new.
I've been trying to learn Wine Red for a while now.
Just wondering if any of you knew any place i could get the sheet music for it?
I've searched for a while now, but all i can find is one with just the simple chords and melodies. If any of you have the more intricate version and would like to share it with me, I would love that. *^_^*

So, hey everyone, I just thought I'd updated you
Forgive Durden is releasing an album called Razia's Shadow on 10/28. The CD is set up as musical and each track has a guest vocalist who plays a character throughout the CD.
Clips of songs are being released on www.raziasshadow.com, and Greta has a character named Princess Anhura in the bottom left corner, when you click on the corresponding orange circle it plays a short clip of her song!

Also, the second batch of tickets for the OneRepublic tour have gone on presale and can be found here. Some of the dates are already available to the general public through Ticketmaster (here) or will be by 9/27.

Paste Magazine's youtube channel has videos of The Hush Sound preforming Honey, Not Your Concern, Medicine Man, and We Believe In (Barak Obama). They can be seen here.

venue information project

Not specifically related to The Hush Sound, but keep it in mind the next time you go see them play!

There's a new community that you should check out: venue_info, the Venue Information Project. Like the name says, it's an attempt to gather as much information as we can about venues all over the world. This isn't just for music venues, but for sports and theatre as well.

Some venues have websites, and some don't, but almost never do venues tell you the information that you really want to know when you're preparing to stand in line for a show for five hours: Where can I go to use the restroom while standing in line all day? Is there cheap but tasty food nearby? What's the nearest transit stop? If I'm driving, where can I park, and how much can I expect it to cost? Is the venue easy to find (like a giant arena) or is it a tiny club tucked into a back alley?

If you go to a show or have gone to shows in the past, share what you know about the venue with other people. And maybe the next time you go to a show, you'll find it a little easier to weather the long wait in line.

i am breaking every single rule of the afs student exchange progrma to announce this:

i missed the hush/cab show in nyc because it sold out.
i missed the philly show because it was my first day in japan.
but now hush is coming to japan.
i should be able to see them.
but damn it all i am in hiroshima and my host fam won:t let me go to tokyo.

i think god is teasing me.

ugh. pointless post is not quite pointless -- somebody please tell me any good stories from this last hush show. anything funny, anything cute, whatever. photos are good too. i just need something to hold me over till my next hush sound live show...which, unless they secretly plan on coming to takehara, hiroshima for the day, will be god knows when,

For those of you who don't know, Fueled by Ramen (THS's label) has a massive back-to-school sale around this time, and they always have the bands do something to promote it (for example, last summer they had members tell funny stories from when they were back at school).

THIS YEAR

they are making a little 'yearbook,' and posting school pictures of various band members and FBR staffers.

Just recently, Bob was added!

he's so tiny and adorable! =) I wouldn't have guessed it was him without any context, but once I saw it was him, I could totally see it.

I don't know if the other three will be added, but I'll keep my eyes out!

I bought The Hush Sound Dance Across the Country tour shirt with the dates on the back and the persons legs walking on the front.

The problem is, it's just a little too small on me. I got a small and I was wondering if anyone wanted to trade a small for a medium or even large? Or if anyone is going to a show and planning to get a small and wouldn't mind getting a medium and then trading?

I was wondering what time I should show up at my venue for DATC if the show starts at 8 and I want a good spot up front? it's a pretty small venue and I have regular GA tickets (none of that VIP stuff).
