Hey guys, is there anyone still reading these entries?
Anyone who watches Studio 60 knows that the musicians of New Orleans were featured in the Christmas Show. You also know that the show has been cancelled and the finale is on 28th June.
A bunch of fans have decided that we should mark the end of the show by indicating our appreciation to the cast and crew and by raising money for the NOLA musical heritage. We have set up a new community to raise funds to publicise this. Please click on the link below to check out what we are up to. It would be great if any of you can help us out.

I did ask for a layout made by pixelleate, with banner, icons, coding and the whole thing. And she sure deliverd! She also made a banner for my website, wish unfortunally isn't up yet, but I am working on that. I'll show it off, as soon as my website is done. So, seven months after I first offered to write for ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) the_fund, I've finally completed everything I agreed to write. This is the last story. It's still unbeta'd, but at least it's not a WIP anymore.
For ponders_life, who asked for post-NFA, post-disaster S/X in the 5-10K word range. This ended up at just under 15K words.

This is for emmessan who has been more patient than I deserve by a long shot. This was to be a fic for the_fund and was due months ago. Unfortunately, my muse died and now, many months later is just now crawling from her grave. In repentance I crawl to emmessan’s temple on bloody knees, and lay prostrate before her shrine with this humble offering, hoping that it might please. I promise the fulfillment of the other two requests (smutty G/W and a special alternate ending to FtB) will follow and beg forgiveness! In the meantime, here is the first, G/S darkfic. (And don’t worry about the word count. You’re more than due any over writing I might manage.)

Hello, I'm everlydawn and I would like to offer my services in beta-reading. I can be reached here, at my own journal, or by email ( everly_dawn@yahoo.com ).
Fandoms: The Lone Gunmen, Stargate SG-1, Stargate the Movie, BtVS, Angel, The Sentinel, Due South, Quantum Leap, and MacGyver.
Rate: I'll stick with the community listed rate of $5/500 words.
Limitations: I shy away from Mary Sues, and will not touch real person fic of any kind. I perfer mostly m/m slash, but I will beta anything.
Time: I can generally do a job within a week of when it is given to me. I do however have a job and am a Graduate student so there will be times when I am stretched a little thin. I will always keep you up to date on what is going on. I'm very good at keeping communication lines open.

Hey guys.
First of all, Operation Jingle Bells (aka sending lostgirlslair and mrtwstedwhsprs holiday ornaments) continues apace. I haven't heard from them that they've received anything yet, but I got my stuff ready to go.
Our intrepid duo is struggling. They're both pretty shell shocked and it's taken them a while to get back on their feet. They're both actively looking for full time work now, and my husband has been helping them. We've also been helping them try to cut through some red tape. FEMA is jerking them around and money (and food and heating fuel and morale) is running low. We've helped them out with a tank of propane and some stuff to shovel snow, and have started knocking on the doors of the Unitied Way and our local state rep and such.
I know this year is an expensive time for most of us, but I know that any little bit could help. If you can spare a few bucks, I know it would be to good use. They don't know I'm asking, by the way. I'm tapped out at the moment, and I'm concerned we may need to cover at least one more fuel tank, which runs about $250, and at most, the rent, which is $850 if the assistance doesn't come through soon.
I'd like to, over the next month or so, raise another $1500. Rent, heat, and enough left over to buy a futon/sofa thingie. What do you guys say? If you can't send money, send em some sweet words. I know they'd appreciate it.
(also, could someone add $500 to the total? And then we raise 1,500 from that.)
