the_fangedfour is a community centered around the Fanged Four vampires (Darla, Angelus, Drusilla, and William/Spike) of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel TV series fandoms. It features fan fiction, fan art, fan videos, etc involving the fanged four. All material must involve the characters as vampires and be fanged four centric, which usually means unsouled and a family unit. Although stories that involve just one or a pairing of the characters are permissiable as long as it is the vampire in his or her Fanged Four aspect. If you're unsure as to whether your material fits the community, please check with a moderator first. Meta is not posted in this community.
Given that the characters are indeed vampires who often partake in activities of a violent and/or sexual nature, please be advised that this community is dark in theme and contains adult material. We require a minimum age of 18 for all members, which will be verified upon request to join. If your full birthdate, including year, is not displayed in your journal info, your request to join will be denied. Material may not always be suitable for viewing at work or around minors. Content warnings are encouraged with each post, but may not always occur. Please be aware of this before requesting membership. All posts are friends-locked and are viewable only to community members.

- No RPF, RPS, Human AU, Meta or non-Fanged Four - we don't object in principle but that's not what this community is about.
- No child porn - we do object!
- Fic longer than a drabble must be under a cut.
- Artwork larger than 400x300 or 300x400 pixels must be under a cut.
- Nudity in artwork and user pics is allowed.
- Ratings, content warnings, summaries, and pairings on fics are a courtesy to readers, but we're not requiring it at this time.
- If you're unsure as to whether the work you would like to post is within the community parameters, just check with a moderator first. We'll help you & be nice about it too :-)
