AboutThis is the Avril Game. Every Saturday, an MP3 of an Avril song will be posted in a locked post. The members of the community will then have until the following Sunday to post their song-based drabbles. The challenge is to try to write each story in a different fandom, but you don't have to do that if you don't want to.
This is not a community for song fic. This is a community for dorks who like to write themed stories and/or stories based on songs.
Stories should be 100 - 1000 words. Longer stories welcome, but not required. Stories can be RPF/S or FPF/S or original fiction, any rating. They can be posted to the community or posted to your journal and linked here. Stories posted here must be posted behind a cut tag.
The proper posting format is as follows:
Subject Line: STORY TITLE by YOUR NAME, FANDOM
Story Title:
Author Name:
Fandom & Pairing:
Rating:
STORY/LINK
Summaries are optional. Place a warning tag if the story contains incest, abuse, non-con, etc.
All posts will be archived using the information in the subject line, so make sure it's accurate.
Feedback is a nice thing to do for people if you like their stories.
No off-topic posts allowed. No beta requests, no images. This community is only for posting stories based on the particular week's song.
