I see you've found your way to the Library. Allow me to introduce myself, I am archemedes and I am in charge here. Though I'm not the usual caretaker of this wonderous place I seem to have been left the keys as it were. That's not important for now, pay it no mind.

Make yourself at home.

The place may have a rather castle theme to it, keeping with the so called Arthurian Age, but I assure you there are no battlements outside. As it happens, there actually isn't an outside. This place is as vast as any other universe, with the possible exception of certain singular plane realities. All of it is within, there is no without. As you can see, the setup is much like any library, though the stacks are much higher. There are interconnected levels for your convenience, ladders or lifts may take you to whatever level you find necessary for your search. There is also a convenient little trolley that can take you to distant locales should the books you seek not be convenient to your present location.

We have a small number of food machines, also conveniently located near the bathrooms, which we trust you will not abuse and take unnecessary care near the books. As you can well imagine, we prefer our books not be ruined by crumbs or smears. Though, I understand it's happened before which is why we have a restoration wing on a lower level.

Unlike most libraries, there is no checking out of any of the volumes that we carry. Any attempt to take any of the books from here will simply result in the book disappearing as soon as you leave this reality. Similarily, the system that guards this place will not allow any violence to occur within these walls. It is not magic, nor is it technology; it simply is the way. The field prevents violence in a variety of ways: weapons no longer possess the capacity to kill and any attempt at physical violence only effects the person making the attempt: Case in point.

Anything you are looking for, we have. The Library contains every book that has ever been written. In fact, anything that has ever been written on anything can be found here. We also have what has not been written as yet in our works in progress section. The only section we have, that is not for the faint of heart, is our biography section where you may find a book on yourself. Those volumes are usually a bit hard for the reader to take, especially as you are reading it continues to write itself on what you are doing at that precise moment.
