That means, if you didn't get an email from the mods saying who your partner is, let us know! :) Also, don't forget to reply back to let us know you received and read through the email. On
April 19th, we'll be contacting all the pairs to make sure you're all working well together, and to see if you've decided on an idea for your project. No pressure - we really just want to do an initial check in and see how you all are doing. :)
Also, a few of you have asked some questions I felt everyone would like to know the answers to:
Q: Are our partners a secret?
A: No, they are not! :) You are free to tell people who your partner is.
Q: Are we allowed to tell everyone about our idea?
A: There is no hard and fast rule about this, mostly because we don't want to force people to not be excited about their projects and drum up interest on their flists, but I would have to say, the less you say, the better. Don't you want your project to be a huge surprise come September? ;D
Q: How's the writer/writer pairing supposed to work?
A: Anyway you want to, really. While a lot of you have a primary talent you're best at, the idea is to collaborate and combine all your talents to create something to show to the AS/S community. If you are both primarily writers, you can co-write a fic together...maybe add in something else creative that one of you can do. If writing is all you feel you are good at, focus on that. Find a way that you both can write or maybe write a story like an RP (role play) and then go back and make a fully detailed story out of it. :) Really, how you want to do it is up to you. And for those who
have collaborated in writing something before, feel free to leave suggestions here, on this post. :)
