The Story

THIS IS FOR DIGIMON ADVENTURE ONLY!

Only 01 and 02 characters allowed for this RPG.

The story is simple--we're not going to battle digivillans this time. The time period doesn't follow the anime persay, and most of the RPG will take place almost in real time, near the end of the O2 series (you know, the time in-between everyone goes off and gets hitched....those unseen middle years). The Digiverse is currently OVER A YEAR into the game (nearing two next spring!), something that all the members pride themselves upon hearing. The story and plotting comes organically, but with some minimal structure. This year, the Digidestined find themselves slipping away from their crests. Why is this happening? Does it have to do with the Digiworld? These questions will be answered soon enough when you join!!

How we operate

We talk about the game, plot, random stuff, or management and player stuff through the community (please, no "OOC" comments or posts making remarks towards the game or plot in your character journals! ^_^")
We post journal entries in the character journals we've created
ALL ENTRIES ARE PUBLIC.
For the sake of the game, write 'PRIVATE' in the SUBJECT BOX for a character to make a "private" entry (aka "no one can see it" and no one can comment on it). Write 'CLOSED--(insert character's name here)' in the SUBJECT BOX to make a sort of "custom--private" setting that allows only certain players to see/comment on what you write.
Any dissagreement in the plot/happenings will be discussed IN THE COMMUNITY, NOT in other people's journals.
Shounen-ai and shoujo-ai are are also welcomed; yaoi and yuri (and hentai) are allowed, but make sure you talk to the players you are involving first if you are going to write anything explicit.
Please, celebrate character birthdays (have it listed in the info of your character journal), I'm not sure if the characters have known birthdays, but for now, just make one up or use your own.

Getting In

MUST have a separate LJ for characters. (For those without stamps, create one after you've been approved.)

MUST be 16+ to play. (This isn't a maturity issue. Younger players playing the "older" digimon characters who are now around 17/18 might have a hard time playing a college freshman if they're 13/14. If you can prove that you're mentally able to play someone older, go for it and prove the mods wrong!)

MUST be a dedicated RPer. (This RP is like a little family. We don't want you to pick it up over the school year 'cause you're bored and dump it at summer.)

MUST be stamped as your character at digi_rating. (This is not a guarantee you'll get in, but if you want to "prove yourself" by showing me that you ARE that character (or if there is no stamp for your character you're applying for), then do so.)

MUST fill out basic application (copy paste the ENTIRE code below into a new post in the community. Filled out as required.).

MUST have seen the series and know the characters' personalities.

MUST POST ONCE A WEEK AT LEAST (in other words, once every seven days), and if you're only going to post once a week, posts sould be of considerable legnth and detail (not like a book, but not two lines, either)

Violaters of the One-Week Post Rule

1st warning
2nd warning
3rd warning-we ask if you're serious about keeping your character. (If you decide you no longer wish to play, that's fine, we'll find someone to come in and take over the journal!)
If the next time you are absent for over 20 days w/o posting in YOUR journal, we will ask you to LEAVE. And you won't have a choice (sorry for being a bitch on this one, but we want to be as active as we always are, and that just hurts character relationships! -_-")

How to avoid warnings?
It's fine if you feel you can't post for the week or if something came up and when you said you'd post something one weekend you can't--just TELL US ahead of time, or when something happens, that you can't b/c of such and such reason, you will no longer have any warnings, because characters would know to work around your absense. If you don't do this, you WILL get a warning, because it puts all the characters in a lurch. So please, if anything's preventing you from posting, tell us! If you can't sign on to LJ, im me (Maru) or the co-mod, Kitsu! <3
