THANK YOU.My dear students, It is the end of another term, and no doubt you are all eager to get home and go about your lives, doing the things that you love, getting into trouble - Mr Black, Mr Potter, I'm looking at you - and perhaps even reflecting a bit on what you've learned here at Hogwarts. However it is my belief at that this moment in time, there is a need for unity, now more than ever. It is with this in mind that I ask you all to keep in touch with each other, stay aware of what is going on around you. To facilitate this I have given you all journals, connected by magic, to keep you informed as to what your friends - and enemies - are up to. Please write freely in this journals, but also exercise caution: you never know who may be reading. Until next term. - Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster *** Welcome to (yet another) Marauders-era RPG. We operate on the simple idea that everybody's writing in a journal and talking to one another. And let's just admit right now that we look up to nocturne_alley as a positive influence because of their-easy-to-follow format and character-driven plots. Any similarities you see between the way they run and the way we run are completely intentional (in a not-ripping-them-off sor of way).Now then, the game is simple: it's 1977 and the last term of 7th year, and the first real stirrings of Voldemort are being felt throughout the wizarding world. Dumbledore, in an effort to unite everyone in the face of evil, gives everyone a gift of enchanted journals, so that they can communicate with each other. They'll continue to use these journals when they return to school. Hilarity and chaos will ensue. This RPG follows real-time, and mirrors where we've left off with Harry in The Order of the Phoenix. We will adhere as closely to canon as possible, incorporating everything we have learnt from all five books.
