So, let me preface this by saying that I know that there is maybe one other person in all of fandom who will get any amusement out of this. BUT.

I have made up a list of what sort of aquarium fish I think different characters from the 2007 movie would think. There's ten of them, mixed Autobots, humans and Decepticons. I am such a nerd, I know. I've provided my reasoning and a little blurb with each one, and hopefully it is not too obtuse, but I'm well-aware that it's pretty specific.

Ironhide: Red-tail catfish, Phractocephalus hemioliopterus. They get six feet long and can take off fingers at their maximum size. His are little, still around six inches, and he is utterly devoted to them. Insists they are friendly and have personalities, but only when drunk. Denies he has them at all when sober, even when presented with evidence to the contrary.

Notes: i was going to run this by spotlight_noa for a quick beta before i posted it, but i decided that i needed to post it before i lost my momentum. i'm not unhappy with it at all; it came out very much the way i wanted it to when i envisioned it. but don't hesitate at all to tell me if something flows poorly or fails to make sense.

Summary: It had started as an experiment: Starscream needed a human subject to observe and then manipulate. Somehow, things went wrong. He wasn't supposed to get attached. And he didn't care about the thing. Really.
Hope had thought of herself as average until she was nearly killed, twice, by a giant space alien robot who had pretended to befriend her. And then, after that, things got weird. Could she trust him? Probably not. But would she? Maybe.

I feel as if to my readers-the ones on here, I should explain myself.  In a nutshell, real life caught up to me in a very bad way-for the past several months, I've been dealing with lost jobs and struggling to make my ends meet-hell, at some points making sure I didn't end up on the street.  To that end, my writing was more or less shoved to the side while I tried to get my life back on track.

Recently I've been able to finally net something-working as a cashier at Walmart, but I still have a long way to go-if I can make it though the summer, I'll finally be able to start breathing easy.  To everyone, I want to say I am so sorry for leaving you all to hang-and pray that you can forgive me. 

But with this job-and the summer-and ROTF (already seen twice, soundtrack owned) I've gotten fresh inspriation for my stories, and now am working to update and post.  I am starting to use Devart, the link to my area is here:  http://yuna0707.deviantart.com/
