This community is a Last Icon Maker Standing [or L.I.M.S.] community. That means that each week people will be voted out of the contest, depending on how good their entries into the challenge are. Finally, all iconists will be voted out, and only one will remain, and they will be the winner. There will also be three runner-ups. The reason this specific community is called ''Texture LIMS'' is because, each week, you will be given a set of textures to make icons from. Your icon must use at least one of the textures.

RULES FOR JOINING

1. You must be able to participate weekly in the challenge [although you get one drop-out week; read more about that below].
2. You must vote when the time to vote arrives.
3. Read the rules for entering and the rules for voting.
4. Friend the community.
5. Sign up at this post (session three).

RULES FOR ENTERING

1. Read the set of rules above, and sign up.
2. Comment on the post for the challenge you are entering.
3. If there is a week that you can't do it, you can drop the week here. You are allowed one drop-out, and it will penalize you one vote next week.
4. Just like dropping out penalizes you one vote, getting favorite, mod's choice, or winning the special category will erase one of the votes against you.
5. Make sure your entry complies with all of the rules for the challenge, and the submission guidelines.

RULES FOR VOTING

1. You will vote for icons to be voted off. The number of icons voted off will vary every few challenges. Participants will also vote for the special category. Make sure to list why you chose the icons you vote for in both instances.
2. I will choose an icon that I like for Mod's Choice.
3. Put ''I will win'' in your comment title when you are signing up, so I know that you have read these rules.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

1. Icons must be 100x100px exactly, and under 40kb.
2. No fanart or doujinshi is allowed.
3. Your icons must be fresh for the challenge.
4. Do not release your icons until after the results are posted.
5. Icons are to be submitted in this format:
