Dear Director;

If you want a winner for a TESOL teacher, you will hire me because I am energetic, fun, and I use activity oriented lesson plans. I have taught at numerous English institutes in Yemen and I have even taught basic high school courses to inner city youth. As you see, I am a well rounded single 28 year old American man who is focused on the job, plans ahead, and I am attentive to my students needs.

An English teaching position provides me with the opportunity to educate the next generation people. I can accomplish this by orchestrating an empowering atmosphere where the students can experience the joy and wonder of learning how to read and write in the English language. Also, I believe that I can aid the class in educational success by establishing a strong classroom foundation, where the purpose, principles, and the beliefs pertaining to learning English are well defined.

 Moreover, I have experience in using the communicative approach. By using the communicative approach, I have been able to demonstrate to non-English speaking students how to communicate in English for numerous social situations such as ordering food at a restaurant, being at an airport, train station, party, job interview, discussing travel plans, and much more. I look forward to using the communicative approach in my classes. Furthermore, I have experience in using the project based approach.

The project based approach was effective in my TESOL classes because it assisted the students in gaining a greater comprehension of the subject matter. Also, the project based approach increased the students' self-direction, and motivation towards learning the specified English for a particular lesson. In addition, the project based approach improved their English research skills, and problem solving skills as they pertain to the comprehension of the English language. As expected, I look forward to using this approach in the classroom.

Moreover, my social skills are of an admirable quality. I can communicate effectively with students of all grade levels, ages, nationalities, and students of all English proficiency levels. Also, I am tireless with students, and I have the experience and knowledge to be effective as a class room TESOL teacher. I am looking for at least a one year contractual full time TESOL teaching position.

In conclusion, I thank you for your time and consideration, and I can be reached my e-mail at Rfdraper3@Gmail.com . Presently, I do not have a phone, so all communication must be made through the e-mail system.  All of my credentials can be found at  http://TesolMan.livejournal.com .  My phone number is 967-73451-6259.   Please NOTE: Presently, I am residing in the Republic of Yemen and I'm looking for a job asap.

Sincerely,

Robert Franklin Draper III
